Gaming Age has posted their review of Gretzky NHL 06, giving it a C.
"It's great that in the seven months since Gretzky NHL PSP first hit, developer Page 44 has ironed out most of the framerate issues, fixed up the graphics and still managed to have the only two hockey titles on the PSP. And though this half-year's iteration is a bit more fleshed out, it's still missing out on some of the potential that will hopefully be realized as a result of a full development cycle. As it stands, Gretzky NHL 06 still has some problems that prevent it from being the definitive portable hockey game - rock-solid framerate, create-a-player and downloadable rosters are still MIA – but it’s still a decent game for hockey fanatics, not to mention the only PSP hockey game this season. If, however, you're waiting for a great portable hockey game, assuming next year's version continues this trend of improvement, that'll be the one to look out for."
