News Post

Wow, plenty of good games yesterday in the NFL. I'm shocked the Bears are sitting at 5-3, what a great season they have had so far. Is there anyone in the NFL better than LaDainian Tomlinson? They almost blew yet another late game, but in the end they came out on top. Ballsy call from Dick Vermeil yesterday in the Raiders/Chiefs game. I also think it might be time for Favre to shut it down, he has nothing left to prove. I'm looking forward to the Colts/Pats game tonight, will Manning finally beat them?!?! I sure hope so, I'm tired of the media bashing on him about it.

When I left for work this morning, I noticed some very bad news. LEAVES! They are EVERYWHERE! Looks like I'll have plenty to do when I get home from work today. I could have did some of it yesterday, but you know how that goes.

I ordered some new PSP knobs and a PSP battery that has some sort of contraption on it that will allow me to play my PSP handheld, sort of like how you hold a dual-shock controller. I have a hard time playing games on my PSP, my hands start hurting after about 30 minutes of play, hopefully these new additions will help. I'll let you guys know.

In other news...
Happy Birthday to the following OS'ers!
Icebreaker1979, egj1976 (29), Longhorn6 (17), GoCoogs117 (17)

Enough about me, what's up with you? Hope you had a great weekend!

WUZ UP!?

Am I the only one loving Masters of Horror on Showtime? I love horror films, I'm such a horror junkie, and these short films, by some of the best horror directors in history have been fantastic! 2 down, 11 more to go, and so far, the first 2 have been jaw droppers. Don Coscarelli of Phantasm fame did the first one, and Stuart Gordon did another HP Lovecraft story in the 2nd one (he did Re-Animator). Tobe Hooper (Texas Chainsaw Massacre "original") does the one coming up. The short films have a Tales from the Crypt feel, without the humor though. Needless to say, when this is released on DVD, I'll be buying it day 1.

Browns won a good game, it was fun to be at, even though it was a monsoon.

My high school alma mater won their first round game, 49-10, to move on. Going to the game on Friday, should be fun!

Devil's Rejects comes out tomorrow, loved it in the theater, can't wait to watch it again.

And the anticipation for the 360 is killing me!

I'm a nut.

4 more wins, 15 wins is a State Championship. Never won by my school, made state once 20 years ago. I'm hopeful. They run the USC offense, so it's quite exciting to watch.

Ahhhh very cool. My high school is boring and has been boring for quite some time. They run, run, run. Even on 3rd and 22 they'll run.

What's up?

First 2 monday's of every month are late starts, so school starts at 8:34 am for me instead of 7 am. I still get out at lunch too, so I'm actually going to school for about 4 hours. :y4:

Chargers won, so that was cool. Tomlinson is a total beast, I'm so glad the Chargers made that trade to get Tomlinson.

My dad officially shot down the "get xbox 360 at midnight and miss school on the 22nd" idea, which sucks. I'll just leave early from third period (aide class) and pick it up.

How do you get late starts? I've never heard of such a thing.

LOL, I'm glad he shot it down!

Good morning. The weekend went too fast. Well, I watched the Mavs destroy the Spurs on Saturday night. Sunday was boring as hell. I didn't think I'd miss my Cowboys yesterday being that I thought I needed a break, however, I was pretty miserable without them. The games that CBS and Fox chose to show were absolutely horrible! I wish I could get Sunday ticket.

Since I was so bored yesterday, I decided to mortgage my entire xbox system with accessories. I packaged my xbox and accessories along with Madden 2005, MVP 2005, ESPN College Hoops 2K5, and NFL 2K5. I looked around at ebay to see what those games were selling for and pretty much, they're either not selling at all or for maybe 5 bucks. I just said screw it and packaged it with the console. I've already responded to 2 questions about my console and I have 7 watchers.

I also went ahead and put Madden 2006 up along with NCAA 2006 and NBA 2K6. NBA 2K6's reserve has alread been met after only a couple minutes of being offered. My Action replay also went up and will be selling also as my $15 reserve has been met. I'll be putting all proceeds toward my 360.

Funny thing, I called gamestop yesterday to see if they will be able to fulfill all pre-orders. Bastard couldn't find my preorder and I almost started cursing because I had just spoke with someone a couple weeks ago about my preorder, now this guy is saying he can't find it. So I look up GS's phone number again and noticed that they had two stores on MacArthur. Guess what, I had called the wrong one...lol! I apologized to the guy and called the correct location. Everything is fine with my preorder as he said I was one of the first people on the list.

Hey guys,

SoMiss, I'm with you on the games Fox and CBS chose to play. I just turned on my PS2 and played some NCAA 06. Tried to take out some of my frustration from the now weekly A&M meltdown.

Other than that, really didn't do a whole lot this weekend. Tried to lay low and save some money. Hopefully this weekend will be different.

Well, that's all for now.

I got my mom to let me stay home because I'm having trouble breathing. I didn't realize until just now that everyone gets tomorrow off due to election day here so I get a 4-day weekend. It's great.

I'm watching Full House right now.

My shoulder's giving me a lot of problems... it's really hurting right now, and I don't know why.

Yeah bro, I couldn't even get into any of the games yesterday. I was pulling for the Eagles against the Skins tho, god I hate them. Pulling for the 9'ers too of course.

I see in another thread you sold the Xbox, congrats! Funny story about your 360 preorder, LMAO!

That is so wierd that you go to school on Monday, then are off Tuesday, back in school wednesday, that is just strange scheduling. My stepson is off on Tuesday as well as Friday, talk about a wierd one.

Shoulder probs and trouble breathing? You need to get to the docs bro!
