Wow, what a game last night huh? The Celtics went up with .8 seconds left, on what looked like a double dribble that wasn't called. Blount still knocked down the shot, in what looked like the game winner. Not so fast my friend! After a perfect pass from Tay (nobody guarded the inbound passer?) to RIP in stride, he let er' rip and hit nothing but bottoms. I almost hit my head on the ceiling I was so pumped up. What a great game, the C's have a lot of nice young talent, West really showed me a lot, he has a lot of hustle and blocked Big Ben, good stuff. It seemed as though the Celtics had a million offensive rebounds!

What is up with the weather? It was in the 40's last week, this week we're looking at mid 70's! I love this weather, but with this sort of weather change brings a lot of sick kids. Hopefully Nat can stay away from that bug, when she gets sick it tends to linger for a couple weeks. Looks like I might have to actually start raking today, guess I spoke to soon huh sportdan?

Man, I cleaned out my truck late last night, it was a disaster area. That truck was an absolute mess. I had papers all over the place, cups and cans all over the place, trash all over the place, just plain junk, you guessed it, all over the place. I didn't completely finish, but I feel a lot better that it's much cleaner. I'll have to finish it up today, probably wash it for the first time since the end of summer, get a good vacuum in and make her happy.

In other news...
Enough about me, what's up with you? Ready for some college football? I'm looking forward to the Miami vs. Va. Tech game myself.

What's up? I know the feeling on the dirty truck Steve. I feel your pain. As for today, just watching some football. Hoping my Vols will finally remember how to win a game, but we'll see about that. I'm not holding my breath. I am excited for the Miami-VT game as well, it should be a defensive battle. #1 vs #2 in total defense.

I have nothing planned for today, just enjoying a good day of college football. Also enjoying all the new info on nba 2k6 for the 360, only just over 2 weeks, I can't wait.

Wow. Wish I coud've seen the end of that game. I'm sure I'll see it on SC later. I went to see "Saw II" last night. Let me just say it was awesome. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as the first but it was. I can't wait for the 3rd one to come out. Oh yes, that's right, there will be a 3rd. Right now I'm waiting for "College Gameday" to come on. Then I'll watch the early game while waiting for Bama to come on. Hopefully we can jump on top early. I'll be pissed if we don't. I don't like Miss. St and I don't care how bad they are, I always like to beat the crap out of them. I also will be pulling for Miami (can't believe I just said that), Stanford, and Baylor. That's all for me right now.

My dad is from Tennessee and routes for them, they've had a rough season. I'm going to eat some breakfast and finish cleaning the truck, I'll feel a lot better when it's done.

Yeah, I'm REALLY looking forward to NBA 2K6, it's really lookin' hot! In case you haven't seen the new screenshots, we posted them here.

Wow, 3rd one coming and I haven't even seen the first.

Good luck to Bama and enjoy your day.

Well, I'll be going to see those Celtics.....along with my Charlotte Bobcats...tonight in Charlotte. First game ever in the brand new arena, I cannot WAIT!

This'll be the first time I've ever been privied to a "first anything" in a new arena/stadium/whatever. I was usually the guy who said, "Ahh, I'll wait til midway through the season when the crowd dies down." But...I told myself this time around, I wanted to be there to see the new place opened up.

I managed to get a pair of media passes for the game tonight through my job. My fiance, Aimee, is going to be my "producer" for the evening. I got her in, too, because she really wanted to go. Should be a blast, I can't wait.

I hate waking up at 6 am for school, I now wake up super early on the weekends.

Not sure what I'm going to do today, probably mess around with NBA2K6 and watch some football. I'm not going to jinx UCLA like last week, UCLA/Arizona WILL be a game to watch.

I'm trying to talk my mom into letting me miss school on the 22nd, so I can get the 360 at midnight, how nerdy am I?

I wish I had that problem, I can't stand waking up in the mornings. If I could, I'd sleep until noon!

LOL, good call.

That's not nerdy at all, there are going to be plenty of people doing the same thing. I might have to call in sick that day myself.

well, I'm just getting ready to go back home for the weekend. Nothing like getting back and sleeping in your own bed for awhile. It sucks because the NU/KU game isn't on TV today, so I'm stuck listening to it on the radio. But I just hope to god NU wins today so we will be bowl eligible and it will put our streak against kansas to 35 games in a row. Other than that, not a whole lot is going on with me. But I do have one question...I'm going on a long trip pretty soon and I'm looking to buy a new PSP game. Is Madden any good? I've searched high and low for a review on this site about Madden for the psp and couldn't find it. A little help please???

That's true, but its weird, a 16 year old kid from California, I'll bet I'm the youngest one out there. :y4:

Have a safe trip bro. We didn't receive a retail copy from EA and nobody on staff has it. From reading about it on the Forums, it's a safe bet to buy if you're into the Madden series. It's gotten some favorable scores as well on the internet/magazines. Maybe someone will chime in today w/ their impressions.

Work was like a ghost town yesterday. It was either people was on vacation or people went to class in town at the main tower. Even my section was at the bare minimum. Only my boss and I in the morning. Yikes! But we managed since we did it before. Luckily it wasn't busy that day. But any free time we went help other sections because they were so short handed. The section next to us were down three people that whole day. Ouch!

Well Hawaii plays at Nevada today. Every game is a must win if they want to go to a bowl game this year. Lose, and they can forget about it.

I ask myself that same question. At lunch, since Costco is next door, we have a nice view of the Costco parking lot and it is always jam packed. I ask myself, 'Does anybody work anymore?'

Weren't you going to this game? I know you were going to one of them, can't remember which one it was.

I'm sure you can find ways to put off work, lol.

What's up?

Spent today at my sisters soccer game, NESQAC playoffs this weekened....they won today meaning they're in the finals tomorrow and most likely have an at-large bid to the Div III NCAA womens tourney, since they're ranked 8th in the country.

Tomorrow I'll be going to the finals and then I'll be going to my high school's soccer game, the playoffs are tomorrow night, so that should be fun.

Not much else really.

Thanks man, I'll try.

Oh, I did forget to mention the football game last night.

So our football team sucks and got blown out 27-0...so us fans decided the team didnt deserve to be cheered for, so we started chanting for the cheerleaders, mainly the freshmen just to embarass the hell out of them. It worked like a charm...you'd see one of the girls just like cower and look down as we started chanting "Lets go _____" over and over again.

Woke up around 6:15 to go to the school and get on a bus around 7:15. We drove an hour and a half to sing for maybe 30 seconds. Then we drove back. I felt good about my audition, but there were some that weren't. My girlfriend tried out, and I thought she would be able to make it, we'll see on Monday or Tuesday.

Now I came home and watched Gameday, I'm very pissed that the Coach picked the 'Canes (who blow, btw). I'm gonna watch the ESPNU telecast of the game, so maybe I can pick something up to be better at NCAA 06. It'll be a great game tonight, I've been waiting ALL week!

When did it become 2006?

Have I mentioned how I am not looking forward to my daughter growing up so quickly?
