What's goin' on fellow OS'ers? I finally found a Walmart that has an Xbox 360 kiosk. I'm going to try and check it out later this evening. I've just heard from a few people that they do in fact have one, so I'll have to definitely go check it out. Anyone know what playable demos are on it?

Just noticed Drew Bledsoe has the NFC's best passer rating. How long has it been since a Cowboy QB has even sniffed that? Bledsoe made a horrible mistake at the end of the Seattle game, but other than that he's been unbelievable, hopefully he stays healthy, because without him the Boys aren't going to do much. They are 7th in total offense and 5th in total defense, not that stats matter all that much nowadays.

I'm finally lifting again after spraining my wrist about 3 weeks ago. I feel all small, it's really wierd. After 3 weeks of no lifting whatsoever, it just seems my muscles have just disappeared. It actually pisses me off, but it will also motivate me to get started again. I played a little basketball yesterday and my shot is far from accurate. I think I'm overcompensating my wrist and just throwing up shots w/ awful form. It's so odd, maybe I'm just too old.

I watched a little bit of all the games last night. The Hornets were a surprise and so was Duncan's hair-do. I can't wait to watch the Pistons tonight. Hopefully the Stones can start Philly's season off on an 0-2 start after tonight.

Enough about me, what's up with you? Who's your pick to win the NBA Championship this year?

The playable demos on the kiosk are Call of Duty 2, Peter Jackson's King Kong and Kameo: Elements of Power. There are quite a few videos to watch, but be sure to try the King Kong demo. It's pretty cool.

Cool, much appreciated. What are your thoughts on Call of Duty 2?

Deeeeeeeetroit.... Baaaasketballllllll....

It was great to see the NBA back last night. The Suns/Mavs game was a lot of fun. It was almost like Dirk and Nash were playing Horse on the playground. Just matching bomb after bomb. Great start to the season! Really looking forward to the Pistons tipping it off tonight!

Little Pistons/Pacers love already brewing:

Looks like Joey Harrington may be back in the saddle this weekend for Detroit. Karma is a funny thing!

Started playing some "Tony Hawk: American Wasteland" this week. I'm really digging some of the changes this year and the game feels like it's been sped up about three fold. It's worth a look. Plus, it's XBL finally!

Still trying to decide what launch titles to buy with the 360. Oh...this could be costly.

How frusturating. I posted a rather lengthy reply to today's "what's up" and somehow I deleted it or it got deleted. Next time, I'll be sure to copy it just in case it doesn't post.

I've yet to find a Wal-Mart near where I live that has a 360 kiosk set up. I thought I have read that the GameStops and EBs are going to have kiosks in their stores as well. I guess it doesn't hurt to call a few stores today.

I'm wavering a bit on purchasing the 360. There's just not that one game that has my mouth watering to play. The game I'm most looking forward to is College Hoops, but that doesn't come out until January. Until then, I'm sure I could get by playing it on the Xbox. Of course, I'll most likely impulsively purchase the 360 but I might just be the only one who doesn't buy a game to go along with the system. I might resign to just renting games for a while.

It's definitely hard getting back to the gym after missing a couple weeks. You definitely feel as though you're starting over. At 32, I've noticed that I'm just not as toned as I used to be. Starting to resemble my father more and more. Scary! Part of it is due to diet and lack of excercise and just pushing myself to lift bigger and bigger weights. With recurring back problems every now and then, it's just not worth it to try and compete with the college kids anymore. I have found that pushups really are the best excercise you can do for your upper body. You work the chest, biceps, triceps, back, and shoulders. Plus, the results come pretty quickly. Didn't Bo Jackson use to do 1000 situps and pushups a day?

Don't have a NBA favorite, but I mostly follow the Bulls because of Kirk Hinrich. Being a former Jayhawk and all, but moreso I just appreciate how hard he plays the game.

As of today I have been through 4 weeks of Rehab on my leg. Things are going very slow. I have at the least 2 more months of this grind. The good news is my wife and son are here with me through the Holidays and the Red Wings are rolling!

This is what my son sported in Vol country on Halloween. Go Blue!!

I got 6 hours of sleep last night. So my mood isn't too friendly right now. And I'm about to go to music class. Ever been to a 12 pm music class ? It sucks. You're sitting there learning about music in the 1800s while wondering what to eat for lunch lol.

Not much going on in my world. Been a hectic day at work. I go home in just over an hour though, came in early for some code elevation issues.

Took down all the Halloween decorations last night, seems surreal how fast this year is flying by. Of course, my wife had the Thanksgiving decorations up within 20 minutes.. LOL

I think I'm going to go home tonight and take a nap, I know how exciting that must sound, but my wife has class so she doesn't get home until late, so I have the whole house to myself. I could clean, or do yard work, but I think I'll sleep. Been up since 3:30...I need it!

DOH! Sorry about that bro, it happens sometimes to the best of us.

You're 32 too huh? Yeah, it's very tough. I've heard pushup and situps are the thing to do as well, but other things I read say that it's more for toning, and you won't really build a lot of muscle from it. I know Herschel Walker used to do 1,000 situps and a 1,000 pushups every day, not sure what Bo did, but Bo knows everything.

Kirk is quick, I like his game.

Hey peeps. Console sports gaming has been taking a backseat in my life, due to my recent purchases of City of Villains and Call of Duty 2 for PC. I barely have enough time to divide between them, my job, my Flyers season tickets and my wife these days, so I haven't touched a sports game in a little while. I'm sure the 360 will renew my interest though. CoV and CoD2 are both fantastic games though - I heartily recommend them to anyone interested in either genre.

Otherwise life is good, though bad times have befallen Philadelphia sports of late. Flyers captain Keith Primeau, out indefinitely with a concussion. Villanova forward Curtis Sumper, out for the year after blowing out his knee. Sixers blow lead last night, lose to Bucks in OT. Phillies hire lousy choice Pat Gillick as GM. Eagles destroyed by Broncos, TO hobbled on crutches not likely to play this week. Etc, etc, etc.

In other news, I sit outside my boss's office at work and her phone isn't working today. Since my cubemate is out today, she's been using the phone in the dual cube right next to me. So I've got all the dirt on everybody now.
