Happy Halloween! Are you dressed up at work? We have a few dressed up, but I haven't seen anything outrageous. Be safe out there tonight, I can't wait for tonight to take Nat out, I know she's looking forward to it.

It was a pretty good Sunday for me. I chilled out for the most part and watched the Boys spank the Cards. Barber III really has looked good for 2 weeks in a row. I'm sure Julius Jones will be healthy enough to play after the bye week. Should be interesting to see how Parcells splits their time. It was good to see the deadskins get humiliated. Gotta love the talk radio stations around here predicting Super Bowl leading up to this game, the Giants really handed it to them. The Eagles made a nice comeback and I thought they were going to tie it up for a second there, but they ended up getting blown out at the end as well. The Eagles and Skins play each other next week, while the G-men play the 49'ers. Looks like the Giants will have yet another week on top of the division. The NFC east is looking like a tight race, it should get interesting.

I played a little more GTA on the PSP last night before bed. My hands start to hurt after about 30 minutes of playing w/ the PSP, I might have to look into getting some sort of grips for the thing.

Enough about me, what's up with you? How was your weekend?

Happy Halloween!

At my work Halloween is a holiday, tons of people are dressed up. Pretty cool and most of the people aren't even here yet!

I'm looking forward to the trick or treaters tonight, had some interseting one's last year, including an 8 year old pimp, with his parents mind you, that said to me "B!tch better have my candy!" I was drinking a Sprite, which was spit everywhere, as his parents just laughed. I gave him a lot of candy obvioulsy!

Saw some NBA Live 06 vids for the 360, and holy crap. Looks like another game I may have to get. I talked my EB into opening at midnight, they were going to wait. But I told them, I have $800 in preorders there, if they dont' open at midnight, I'm getting my 360 at Walmart, and I'll be in on Tuesday to collect my cash. The manager said "you wouldn't do that would you?" I said you bet your life. He then calls his DM, and says, we'll open for 1 hour. Right on!

LMAO, that's good work. 95% of people on the radio shouldn't have a job.

Anyway, I was really looking forward to this weekend for a long time and it certainly lived up to it's billing. Friday night was a nice, smaller party at one of my friend's apartment. She started flipping out though once a decent amount of underage kids started showing up but we showed em the door quickly. I also got this little cutie's phone #. I talked to my friend about her, I guess she broke up w. her BF a lil while ago and is pretty cool, etc so I'll definately have to see where this goes.

Saturday night we went to a much bigger party. It was pretty crazy there, tons of people and about 10 kegs and some hilarious costumes (One guy was Jesus with fake spikes sticking through his hands and feet. Another guy was a basket of laundry, interesting). My boy and I were on the beruit table outside (in 30 degree New England weather) for almost two hours!! We finally started putting steaming hot water in the water cups so we could dip our fingers in there in between shots to get feeling back in our hands.
I got another girl's number there, but I think I reeled in a pyscho. I woke up the next morning with 4 missed calls from her and two text messages. Also got another call from her yesterday afternoon.....yeah, I didn't answer that one. I was flirting with her for a while and she was biting the line like crazy anyway, then we found out we had the exact same birthday and she thought it was a sign from God or something. Bad news.

Yesterday I just chilled and stuff, ate some good food w. the fam and watched some football. Later on I watched The Village which I thought was unbearably bad. Antonio Gates also saved my behind in my fantasy league after Brunell put up a doughnut! So I was excited about that as I moved to 7-1.

Another little thing on the side. I wrote in Friday's "What's Up" that I won a $100 raffle at some Oktoberfest thingon Thursday night. Well, on Friday night I was putting together my costume and I asked my father if he had any goofy pants and he said he had some old ugly yellow ones he wore in the 70's that were probably up in the attic. So I go digging up there for 10 minutes and finally find them, bring them downstairs and try them on. And what do I find, a $20 bill crumpled up in the pocket. Then on Saturday I got that girl's # who had the exact same birthday as me which was strange. So Sunday I decided to take $10 of my winnings from the raffle and buy some scratch tickets to see how far my luck would go. Well, I won $110 in ten scratch off tickets. Unreal. It seems like one weird/great thing has happened each day since last Thursday. At lunch today I'm going to buy a few more scratch tickets (I'd never bought one in my 23 years before yesterday) to see how things go. Since today is Halloween, I'm hoping this is the grand finale of my luck, ahem....a grand finale worth a couple thousand bucks!! I know I'm dreamaing but oh well. Very strange.

I hope everyone had a good weekend, what else is up w. all of OS.

I'm wearing a Charlie Brown/Snoopy Halloween shirt.

Yep! He was wearing a purple suit with a big fuzzy hat. Had a bunch of gold chains. I was looking at him as he walked to my porch, and he looked up, and out those words came. Then out came my Sprite. Funniest moment I've ever had on a Halloween.

Happy Halloween!

We have a few dressed up today at work. The best of which are these 6 ladies who are dressed up as The Village People. Well done. Our company VP (the man who will soon be signing my paychecks) is decked out in full Pimp gear. I just keep telling everyone who is busting my chops about not dressing up that my pants are full of Candy Corn.... See... those Sexual Harassment Sensitivity classes are paying off!

Looking forward to taking the girls Trick or Treating tonight. They are both going as cheerleaders and my Golden Retriever (Vegas) is dressing up as Elvis. It's supposed to rain here in Detroit tonight, but hey, wet Milk Duds are just as good!

Lions blew another nice defensive effort yesterday and may have lost their best chance at the playoffs. I don't remember another year in my lifetime where Green Bay and Minnesota were both this bad! What a wasted opportunity. Am I the only one who thinks we may see Reggie Bush in the Minnesota purple and gold next year?

The Pistons locked up Tayshaun Prince to his extension. Well deserved. Congrats to Curious George!

My wife and I have gotten addicted to the gym again. I feel the best that I've felt since my early 20's. At 32, I was starting to feel a little sluggish and, well, OLD during Softball and Basketball this summer. I've lost about 20 pounds in the last 7 or 8 weeks and my cardio health feels 10x better then it was last year. Now...to put it all back on with Halloween Candy!!!!

Come on bro, you know it's meant to be when your b'days fall on the same day!

My god, Gates KILLED me yesterday, since I was playing against someone that had him on their squad. Even w/o him, I think I'd still lose this week.

How about spreading some of that good luck this way!

Not trying to pry, but does that mean a promotion is in your near future? If so that's friggen great news.

Good stuff Clay, as always.

As for Bush, I think he'll go to the 9'ers or Texans. The Vikings are pretty bad, but I think they can get a few more wins w/ Brad Johnson leading the way.

That's GREAT news! I didn't hear they locked Prince up! Curious George!

Congrats on losing the weight bro, my wrist is FINALLY feeling better, so I can start hitting the weights again myself.

I'd be shocked if the Texans took anything but an Offensive Lineman. They have D'Brickshaw written all over them. The Niners...yeah maybe... I still think they may be OK with Gore (or Barlow). They could use some help on D. I had this vision yesterday of Bush in Minny and Leinart in Green Bay. The NFC North likes their USC Boys.

Since this is the Main Page... I won't ask you what you did to your wrist.

So are you dressing up to take Nat around?

True on the Texans, I think they'll try to improve the line through free agency and still take Bush, they need a playmaker. What would Green Bay do w/ Aaron Rodgers? The Lions will probably take another wide reciever.

LOL, hurt my wrist lifting a sofa, something just popped in my wrist, no idea what it was. It's not fully healed, but I can start lifting again.

Nope, not gonna dress up, she says... "Daddy, you're too big for a costume."

I'm off to school in about 15 minutes or so but I'll recap a little of yesterday.

Chargers won so I was happy, worked for about 4 hours cleaning out my closet, vacuuming the house and the garage, and cleaning my room. I got paid, so now I'm debating if I should get College Hoops or wait until the 360 version of it in January.

Then, I put my new computer speakers on my computer. I blew out the left speaker on my whole old set like a year ago, so my dad went out and bought me some speakers.

Hopefully school today is alright, I can feel myself getting sick like every Halloween, so I won't be going out. My dad went crazy on candy, so I should be able to find a lot around the house.

Speaking of College Hoops, hopefully I'll see beta this week, there hasn't been much info out on this game.

What's up fellas? Nothing much here, just studying some Trigonometry. Seeing that it's Halloween, I figured it would fit in w/ me studying, since Trig is derived from pure Evil :y4:

Other than that, not a whole lot is going on. I'm looking forward to the start of the basketball season tomorrow, Cavs vs Hornets. I may be coaching my first game tonight, depends or not if the other school has enough to play :y4:

Either way, should be a pretty decent day for me.

I'm looking forward to the start of the season as well, go Pistons!

Good luck w/ the game tonight, let us know how they never listened to you, I mean uh...how it went.

what's up? WORK! I just made it to the office around 9:00 am. I've just sat down with my normal 1 cup of coffee. Just finished shooting the **** with my co-workers, and i'm about to see what's on my agenda for the day. I hope this day goes by fast as I'm ready to go home already. I didn't go to Gamestop yesterday to pay on my 360. I sold some things on ebay and the buyer finally paid me after a week. So hopefully that transfer goes through m y account today, if so, I'll be stopping by gamestop. Paypal xfers normally hit my account pretty quickly. We'll see.

I decided this morning that I'll probably, in all likihood be trading in my xbox and accessories the Sunday before the 360 launch. Either that or i'll sell on ebay. I just don't see myself buying anymore games for it after teh 360 launch. If it were my PS2, it would be different. I'm still on the fence though. We'll see.

Good:

Friday started off aight, went straight home after work and found out the one of my homegirls was having a "house party". Went there and enjoyed myself for a little while. Had to leave cuz it was about to get bad.

Saturday, my mom came and picked up my kids to buy them Halloween costumes. My mother also threw the kids a lil Halloween party for the kids in the neighborhood and for friends. I didnt go, I took my girl to go and see Saw II, great movie!!! Good thing I went to go see it during the daytime or otherwise I wouldve had problems sleeping. Not that I will scared but when I dream, I dream. Meaning, I will wake up most nights or mornings with my shirt soaked in sweat from dreaming, strange but true. Also played NBA 2k6 in peace due to the kids not being around....!!

Sunday was good cuz the Bears won and I played video games with the kids all day.

Now heres the bad part of each day

Friday, while at my homegirl party, she informed me before a arrived that her "guy" would be there. I didnt care, its not like I like the girl. I mean I can get some when I want some but thats a different story. Anyway, I met dude and come to realize that we knew each other so that made it even better. Real playas kickin it and aint trippin over these 'pros'. So we shoot-da-**** for a min and he has to make a 'run'. My mans is in a wheel chair so he asks this other guy to help him to the ride. Dude leaves and takes my homegirl with him and Im there with some other cats and these young dudes walk in.

So being respectful, I say "whats up?" and proceed to shake their hands. One of them is tryin to be Bizzy Bone and the other one in just tryin to be hard, period. So while shaking their hands I get these soft *** handshakes from them, right there thats a sign, these dudes on bull****. I didnt pay it no mind cuz lil boys gonna be lil boys. So the dude who was acting hard asked if we wanted to play Spades, I say aight.

Tuff-guy and Bizzy are on teams and me and my mans Dave (dont know him that well but I went to HS with him) are sitting across from each other. We play best 2 out of 3 hands and we started to kick their ***. They are arguing among each other and while im dealing, Tuff guy is staring me down. I guess by me being a lightskinned guy and short most guys think that im young and not hip to the streets also. Im 31 but I look young for my age.

Music is blaring and dude is talkin to Bizzy sayin "These ni**az some chumps man, how you lettin them kick our ***? When Im done with my beers I should shoot these ni**az!" All the time, I hear him but say nothin. Im not a saint by no means but I am also not a gangsta. But in todays times you have to adopt the American Express slogan, "Dont leave home without it." And I didnt.

I basically sat there and waited, I guess, for dude to kick it off but nothing never happened. I left like 30 mins after that cuz I kept saying to myself to "Kick his ***." I have a family, a good job and a new house, no need to hit a gump in the head with a gat just cuz he dont know any better.

I feel bad cuz the street side of me keeps tellin me im a chump because dude got away with sayin that trash. The 'Responsible man' side says "..move forward and dont look back." so that brings me to Sunday. Saturday was cool.

Sunday, the Bears won so I figured I need to go and get my NBA 2k6 that I left my buddy use. I have a modded Xbox so I was playin it off the HD and let him keep the disc. I arrive at his house only to hear him say he pawned his Xbox. He stays with his girl, had no job and hustles for a living, barely. I asked why would you do some dumb **** like that, he said "I needed some money." Asked how much money he got, he said, "$40"

Dumb stupid *** ****ing idiot. If times are hard then yeah I will understand but he dont work and if you hustle and dont work...YOU SHOULD BE PAID!!!! Just my $0.02

Anyway, his girl comes in (she knows I dont like her but I speak to her anyway.), I say hello and she asked him why he didnt make the bed. He leaves the room for a min and comes back, tells me to sit in the chair so he can make the bed.(Makes me think about Snoop song on RnG "Can you control yo hoe?" if you listen to that song or have then you know what Im sayin.)

I sit in the chair so he reaches down in the TV stand thingy and throws the NBA 2k6 game on the bed. I wait til he leaves the room to check my game for scratches. I pop open the case and see the top of the game has a scratch on it. I look even harder and see that top scratch is not a scratch...THE DISC IS BROKEN!!!

Im like, "Man what happened to the game?"

He said, "Aw hell naw!! Man, I will buy you another one."

I got heated...INSTANTLY cuz for
1. How long has my game been like this?
2. I knew his beotch did it.

I told my girl about it and she just laughed. She said thats what I get for having dead beat friends who have psychopath girlfriends.

Lesson learned...no online play until xbox360.

I need new friends....

You did the right thing bro, messing w/ those punks will do you no good. Did you win some money off of em? haha...

Tuff Guy and Bizzy, LOL...Sounds like a video game name.

Hey Guys,

Well, my weekend was a little mixed. Had a blast in College Station, except the 4 or so hours at Kyle Field. I'm really dissappointed in the product Fran and Company are putting on the field this year. No disrespect to Iowa State, but they should not be 28 points better than the Aggies at Kyle Field. That was an embarassing loss. That was one of the worst efforts I've ever seen from A&M. And what's bad is, two of the other worst efforts were in the last 3 years, the Cotton Bowl last year, and the 77-0 buttkicking at the hands of OU. I'm starting to wonder if maybe the players aren't buying into what Fran and Co. are selling. I wouldn't at all be suprised to see a coaching shakeup at the end of the year. I'm still hoping for a bowl appearance, but with games @ Tech (haven't won there since 1993), @OU (haven't won there since 1997, I think), and Texas (haven't beaten them since 1999), it doesn't look too good. The way our pass defense plays, look for Hodges to have a big game against us.

Anyway, sorry about the rant there, needed to get that off my chest. The rest of the weekend was a blast. Went to the Texas Hall of Fame in Bryan. A friend of mine that went with us used to work out there, so we were able to get in free, when I think they were charging $14 at the door because of the band. Stayed until about 11:30, then headed back toward campus to the Dixie Chicken, and the Dry Bean Saloon. Had many beers and a few shots, and ended up back at the hotel. Saturday, went out and tailgated with some friends who have a camper. Wish I had stayed out there drinking beer instead of going to the game, but oh well. After the game, went back and had a few more beers to drown our sorrows, then headed back to the hotel around 10:00. We were all pretty tired, so decided to call it an early night. Got up early to get back here in time for the Cowboys game. Can A&M hire Mike Zimmer?

I work for a smaller sized company, so of course we've got people dressed up. I was lazy, so I just grabbed a hockey jersey and my helmet, which might actually come in useful, since it just started hailing. We are also doing a pot luck lunch today, so I actually had to cook something last night to bring. We'll see how my bacon-wrapped stuffed jalapenos go over.

Well, that's it for now, got to actually do some work.

Oh, the Boys win mixed with a Longhorns win made for a great weekend. I've kinda adopted the Horns as the teams I root for as my Southern Miss Golden Eagles will never win a national title in football or basketball. Looking forward to seeing the improving Horns basketball program.

Cowboys, we did what we should have done. I think we have a team that can be very good as long as Parcells lets Bledsoe run the show. We could easily be 7-1. Glad to see we may have something in Marion Barber III. I still can't wait until JJ gets back though. He and Barber could be something special. A-Train is this year's Eddie George. We have a tough stretch coming up after the Bye, if we can go 2-1 during teh 3 games in 11 days, i'll be pretty excited.
