UGO has posted their review of Blitz: The League, giving it a B.
"If you're a football fan, you've probably been playing Madden 06 more than you'd like to admit. Blitz: The League isn't a bad alternative if you're looking for something new (just don't expect too much depth or realism here). For non-hardcore pigskinners, Blitz is a solid arcade replica of the sport, and definitely brings back memories of the old games, even if the NFL teams and players are AWOL."

Picked this up yesterday, and liking it so far. I'm still curious to see how it plays online. Offline, however, it's an extremely fun alternative to Madden.

I'm addicted to this game, I agree, it's a great alternative to Madden. It's very over the top and plays very fluid. It's a good start.

Sadly enough I'm still in my first year of my Madden franchise, but I do want to get a chance to at least rent Blitz. It's cool that they came up with a new idea for how to do the game, I'd think this makes it way better than if they just rehashed out a new game with the NFL licence.

Blitz is great, no worries about rosters, sliders, realism, I love it.

Reviews sound good so I'm going to have to give this one a rent. Sounds like a very fun game!
