Lawrence has posted the following reviews:
  • NCAA March Madness 06 (PS2, Xbox - 83%)
"Overall, Madness 2006 improves upon a tried and true formula and adds enough to the core gameplay to warrant a serious look. Diehard college basketball fans should definitely give it a try."
  • SSX On Tour (PS2, Xbox, GC - 84%)
"SSX 3 dipped into the free-roaming mountain era, lacing three fully-modeled mountains with challenges, courses and free-roaming capability. It was a significant step up from SSX Tricky. SSX On Tour doesn’t make any comparable evolution and is really hard to recommend for the full retail price at $39. So if you’ve never played an SSX game before, you owe it to yourself to pick up SSX 3 in the bargain bin. It’s essentially the same fun game at a fraction of the price."
  • FIFA 06 (PS2, Xbox, GC - 88%)
"As said before, this is the best in the FIFA series and it comes just at the right time for the World Cup next year. Online play is found on the PS2 and Xbox but lacking on the Gamecube but that’s not surprising. FIFA is great either solo or with a group of friends. Now whether FIFA has caught Konami’s Winning Eleven series is another debate. Winning Eleven still boasts some gameplay and control features that top FIFA’s, but if you’re looking for licenses and more of an atmospheric game, FIFA is your choice."
