Inside Gamer Online has posted the following:
- NHL 2K6 Review (8/10)
"All things considered, NHL 2K6 is an excellent follow-up to last year's therapeutic installment of the NHL 2K franchise. It's not perfect, but when you add up the rule changes, the vastly improved gameplay, the bug fixes, and the $20 price tag, it's impossible not to recommend this game to anyone who loves the sport of Hockey. NHL 2K6 is a shining example of everything a sports game should be, even with the loss of Sega and ESPN."
- NHL 06 Review (7.6/10)
"In the long run, NHL ’06 turns out to be a good game. If you can look past the minor problems in the animations, the Superman AI and the new rule missteps, you will find that EA has actually created a pretty good sim style game. The emphasis on offense, coupled with a solid defensive scheme, balances the game extremely well. Add in the bonus NHL ’94 game in the PS2 version and you are looking at a deal that is hard to pass up."
- NBA Live 06 Preview
"NBA Live 06 has a lot going for it right now, and it looks like this game will deliver. We didn’t even go into the new minigames or revamped Dynasty Mode in this preview, so you can bet that the editors here at IGO will have a lot to say once our review rolls around. For now, just keep imagining of all the good things (like all-star trades) that can eventually happen to your team. NBA Live 06 will be out on store shelves late this month on the PC, Xbox, GameCube, and PS2. Also look for the Xbox 360 version a bit later in the year."
