Gaming Target has posted their review of World Tour Soccer 2006, giving it a 5.9.
"It's almost a good thing World Tour Soccer 2006 has plenty of competition, because that allows the game to not get a lot of publicity since this PS2 version is not very good. The Career setup is really cool and is something that should be replicated in other games somehow (imagine being a high-school hoops king, choosing scholarships or waiting out a year to enter the NBA draft at 19, or playing through the NBDL until a team gives you a chance...though that was tried by NBA Shootout a few years back), but the game itself doesn't play all that well, and as long as far superior competition exists, there's really no reason to pick this up. Had it contained online play it might have been a decent choice (since Winning Eleven won't until the recently announced WE9), but as it is, WTS 2006 is a subpar game of footie that really isn't worth worrying about. The PSP version is pretty good...this one is not."
