News Post

As of today, OperationSports.com has changed - not only in look, but in direction.

We're still the same group of hard-working guys who have been here for years; bringing you the best in sports gaming news, reviews and topical discussion, but now, we're going to be even more "dedicated to sports gaming" - with you in mind.

Armed with an easier-to-use and more powerful site, fresher original content delivered to you more often, and the most respected discussion boards in the industry, OperationSports.com is still your best one-stop-shop for "those in the know" regarding the world of sports gaming - and we're making it even better.

With three new consoles already on the way, the next generation of gaming is almost upon us; and we're ready to make sure that you are, too.
  • Make sure to check out the new front page! It's fully integrated with the forums, including the ability to comment on news stories, RSS feeds, PM notifications, and more.
  • You've been switched to the new "official" stylesheet: OS Pro. Feel free to switch back to whatever you prefer, but OS Pro is the new "look" of OS.
Let us know what you think - after all, this is your site - and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Thanks for your support.

Looks great!

How about a list of everyone that helped make this move successful, so that we could thank everyone?

Which option is the old layout?

Please tell me it's still there!

New layout is nice, makes the main page feel more connected with the forums. The new skin is cool, but I'm sticking to what I'm used to.

Kiss a$$! :y4:

Love the front page. Don't like the new 'scheme', but was happy I could change back to the old one. Good stuff!

The ESPN scheme is my personal favorite. The crimson, black, and gold work well and are easier on the eyes. I love the changes to the front page as well. Good job guys!

i like the changes too!!

but like something got screwed up, like the buttton you click to reply/edit buttons like their pics are instead x's and say reply, or delete/edit post etc.

To be honest I don't really like it. On my 800 x 600 resolution it looks insanely cramped (latest reviews, latest previews, etc.) and there are several other things I don't like. (doesnt seem as "flashy" and "simple" as the last layout and also some of the header images look bad thanks to again, being cramped. But I do like the color scheme.

anyone know how to get rid of the x's though?! i keep on getting the red x's where gifs are supposed to be like the reply button...and this came right after the change

but yea, i like the front page, but the forums look a little too generic and normal, and briggght, but i guess its just normal change, after a while people will get used to it

I really like the new look! Much more integration between the main site and the forum and I like how 'modern' it feels. Great job guys!

Im getting a

ADODB.Field error '80020009'

Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record.

/Default.asp, line 0

on the main page.. ??

Peter, are you using a bookmark? What's the address you're hitting? You should be getting sent to the new page by now, unless you're still having problems from last week's DNS fiasco.

not sure why you are getting red x's ..... i don't think anyone else is getting them.

What browser are you using? Do you see people's Avatars? Or any of the buttons?
