G4techTV has posted their review of MLB 2006, giving it a 4 out of 5.
"Though the fielding is not quite up to snuff, the depth of play options helps make up for the shortcomings. While the modes are the same as in MLB 2005 (exhibition, career, franchise, season, and home run derby), and there’s still the nifty ability to put your smiling mug on a created player using the EyeToy peripheral, there’s even more depth. In career mode, for example, you begin in the minors, fight for playing time, train in the gym, speak with managers, and more, not unlike a sports-oriented role-playing game. Throw in the legends of yesteryear, 60 minor league stadiums, a fantasy draft, online support with voice chat, and the ability to customize game settings for the CPU, as well as, for two different players, and you have a game that won’t be riding the pine anytime soon. MLB 2006 may not be a grand slam, but it’s a definite home run for baseball fans."
