I thought with so many people pissed off about the pump fake glitch, we should make a victory thread of people who beat these douchebags to vindicate ourselves a bit.

So I'm playing as Stanford and I get paired up to play this dude using Georgia. He starts with the ball and immediately ran the pump fake glitch and scored. I usually just play online games to lab for my OD games but after he did it another time I was getting annoyed.

I messaged him to stop playing gay and man up. He sends me a voice message saying "Stop THIS bitch!"

I tried anything I could and had a little bit of success in quarters and even punt fake zone but nothing was really THAT effective. Luckily this guy was TERRIBLE on defense so I scored every possession. Some good clock management got me into the end zone with :02 left in the half to tie the game up.

I got the ball back in the third quarter and decided to chew the clock as much as possible. I scored, he did his glitch and scored, and I got the ball back with 1:00 to go in the third and down by ONE. So I think, I am going to chew this clock like it's a [edited for mature and incredibly tasteless conent]. So I manage to get down to my 10 yard line with 1:00 left in the game and he burns his timeouts. It's third down so I have a chance to burn more time and I get it down to 3 seconds... then FG FTW!

I messaged him back saying "Stopped it, didn't I? Punk bitch"

I might get this fucking photo framed. Notice the score (Georgia 38, Guest 37) and the game clock as the ball sails towards the uprights.

I was Oklahoma, guy was UF. He was pump-faking, but Ifound that if you already have a lot of pressure coming, you won't have to get off the pass cleanly and pump-fake. He realized that in the second, and it was a clean game after that, I won 24-20.

What blitzes do you do? Do you send 7, 8, 9 defenders? It's good to know there is a counter to it.

I would also like to know what blitzes work as I ran EVERYTHING including Punt Block on run commit and I still couldn't get to him.

Sacking the QB or disrupting the QB's pass is EASY when he's pump-faking. Problem is, you have to send so many people you leave GAPING holes in your coverage that any retard can adjust and just stop pumping and play catch. That prowl-spy defense is pretty easy to pass against if you hot route a back to block and don't pump-fake.

I use S. Carolina so I expect to have to play a good strategic game against most opponents because, well, I use S. Carolina (LOL) and I'm just average with the stick skills. I played against hogwild_76 (yes I am outing him as I promised him I would) and his Arkansas Razorbacks. On his first play from scrimmage after taking the opening kickoff, he runs the glitch and scores on an 83 yard pass as his receiver catches the ball twenty yards behind my DB(s) and the other two wideouts (also WIDE THE F*** OPEN) convoy him down the field. Oh yeah, he has the nerve to do the goal line leap and then celebrate with the hog. Am I telling you guys how I really felt? As he's celebrating I immediately start sending him a furious message about how I'm going to "turn his a$$ in with the recordings of his sh--. I had no idea that there was no policing of the game by EA. Then I calm down and work the clock and score on the last play of the quarter. I defended him after that with a variety of 3 deep zones with various blitzes, usering one of the deep safeties and gave him the underneath stuff if he had time and took it and didn't get sacked. Either I picked him off or he'd get down field in the red zone where he had no room to use the glitch. He did score again but when I had the ball I scored every time and used the clock so his opportunities were limited. I beat him 32-14 and rubbed his nose in it by scoring a 2 point conversion at the 3 second mark. I was suprised he stayed in the game but I guess he thought the glitch was going to save him in the end.

guy did it against me with UF vs. PSU, scored on the 1st two possessions. i msg him telling him to grow up. it was a ranked game and i didn't want to quit and take the L so i start middle blitzing (3-3-5) the crap out of him in desperation....voila...with all of the pressure, we stopped him 3/4 times he had the ball and didn't look back from therehe still got a couple of throw and hopes in but also had a deflected INT, and two fumbles...then to put the cherry on top, i did the gltich back to him on the last possession with time running out...final score was slike 49-21...

All I do when I play these guys is open up my account on xbox.com and send the guy messages from my laptop telling him how big of a douchebag he is for the entire game.

Just beat a guy named xA-R-H_15x using the pump fake glitch. I found that press coverage doesn't fall for it if they are in press when he tries. Manually blitzing the mlb from nickel/dime I was forcing turnovers like crazy. I wound up with 5 ints and 2 fumbles. All using press cover 1 and speed rushing my mlb and if I had time I would blitz the S in zone and bring him down to blitz as he was the only player who fell for it every time. I won 48-12 and I didn't use the glitch once.

Nice work everyone. Always nice to see skilled players overcoming cheating. I don't play the online version of this game, but I thought I'd share my own experience on this topic

I play a basketball game on the computer. There used to be an easy way to hack the system to where you could make every shot (and even make it to where you can't get blocked as well). Hackers would usually lay low at the first part of the game, when the other team could quit without penalty, and then hack hardcore for the last half of the game. My friend and I were forced to play 4 games against hackers, and we were 4-0 against them.

im finding more and more that the satisfaction of beating someone who cheese's isnt half as good as it is bad when a cheeser beats you in the last few minutes.

in my online dynasty...me penn st....him mich....i had a 21 point lead with 3 minutes left. so what do i do....the nice thing. run the ball and punt. well he saves 5 wide verticals all game for the last 4 minutes. goes into no huddle and runs around with forcier till coverage breaks down or till verticals is wide open every play. cause im just playing prevent waiting for time to runout. then he gets onsides kick and veticals all the way down the field again. i msg him and say dude....quit calling the same play on no huddle every play and scrambling. he kept doing it and of course i come out my final drive and throw because he uses run commit and had 3 timeouts left. it turned into how every single game does....whoever has it last wins. he played straight till i went up by 21 with 4 mins left then decided to pull out all of his bs cheese plays. if you ever have a lead in this game...no matter how big...dont stop passing and try to run out the clock. this happens in almost every game i get a big lead in. go conservative and next thing i know its tied late in the fourth. its the damn catchup momentum...even users get it this year.

From Multiple D:

46 Normal Inside Blitz (Best) 46 Normal SS Blitz or Nickel 3-3-5 LB Rams Dog - Had some marginal success with Dime 3-2-6 QB Trap and Nickel 2-4-5 Cover 2 Sink

I swear it's always the michigan fans/users that abuse the AI. Played two guys last night, one that played with michigan and pump fake glitched on me all game when he wasn't running speed options with robinson and the other guy played with georgia but had michigan set as his season showdown team that glitched the whole game.

I do like poking fun at them being a MSU alumni.

Haha suspect do you ever post on the freep.com comments section on UM/MSU articles? It's worse than partisan politics! Reading that stuff gets me through the workday sometimes.

I've been killing these glitch happy gamers with cover 1 press. Just make sure you position your S in man so he gets a good press. I like to use the nickel 3-3-5 cover 1 play with 2 yellow zone lbers. I blitz those two, press, and play deep with S in a blue zone covering anyone who falls for the pump fake (most of the time it's just 1 guy unless you use a team that isn't good at pressing like UT but they do a good enough job). I beat one guy today 63-13 using Tenn versus Ohio St. Believe it or not both TDs came from Pryor scrambling and breaking tackles like a madman. 4 user pick TD's and he still didn't learn, so he gave me a 5th one. It was over by halftime. I'll give him credit for one thing, he didn't quit.

Beat a guy the other day. His record was 10-2 with a DNF of 0% so I was pretty sure something was up but I decided to play him anyway. He was Texas and I was Stanford.

Basically, I whooped him in the first half, 20-0, and he came out in the second half trying the glitch but I was bringing pressure every down so he couldn't pull it off. Here's where things get funny. At the end of the third quarter, with me up by four touchdowns, he offers a friendly quit! [laugh] I of course reject and his next move is to concede defeat. Well I hate glitchers, especially ones who try to pull it out as a last ditch, BS attempt to win a game and boost their record up that no one cares about, so I reject his offer to concede defeat and proceed to run up the score as much as possible in the fourth quarter. I'd pretended like I was finally running the clock out with dives on first and second down, and then on third and short, I made it rain for a 65 yard TD pass that finally pushed him over the edge, making him quit and lose his 0% DNF with 20 seconds left in the game.
