  1. Everything looks quite stunning...one thing I've noticed is that the arenas themselves look very dark, is it just me? Maybe it's just pre-game etc ..just hope their a lil brighter come September...:59:

I don't mind the dark arenas if the players are looking that photo-realistic. But besides, it's hard to make that conclusion about this until we see 5-on-5 gameplay in broadcast view

All about resources. They cut back on crowd lighting to enhance the players. It's just the drawbacks of consoles at this point
Looks great. The only thing I don't understand, and it's been like that for years, is why only white object have a clear reflection on the hardwood floor, while darker object barely show. White shoes and uniforms reflect very clearly, while road uniforms/dark shoes hardly have any reflection. Even on light brown floors you don't see much reflection of non-white objects.

They're not in here but at the beginning of the video with the clip of Isaiah Thomas you can see a new Rockets uniform

There's a pic of Harden at a photoshoot floating around somewhere, they do have a newer jersey for sure. It didn't look too different but it was a noticeable difference.
Most definitely awesome.. this attests to "refined version of past titles" ethos that 2k has... hope the gameplay follows suit with the graphical/art improvements

As far as lebron face scans, probably right up there with 2k14.. hope the full body scan is as good (from the video, it appears as if he still has treetrunk leg syndrome)

Not as bad as 2k17, but proportions still messed up don't you think? At least in comparison to Durant's (2k17 VS 2k18).. nitpick sh*t I know, but still, LBJ is arguably the best player in the game and a former cover star..

    Wow

If you close up on this pic, you can literally see the gray hair strands in LeBron's beard. This is by far the best LeBron player model ever.

    Oh my god !

There's a screen shot of lebrons leg next to kd's leg. You literally haven't a clue what you're talking about I'm sorry. I'm reclaiming my time.

To each his own man... I admit it's nitpicky though... my point is, they spent the effort going all in on making KD's appearance (down to the proper proportions of his physique -- slouched shoulders, long wingspan, thin legs, etc.) with damn near 100% integrity, and couldn't do the same for LBJ? You can't honestly say that LBJ (body-wise) looks as on-point as KD does from the 2k18 pictures we've been shown... all I'm trying to point out is why/how could this be, especially for James -- arguably the best player in the game, the former cover boy, probably the only player other than KD ranked 96+, what have you...

We haven't seen enough of Bron to really jump out the window and say his body is wrong. Seems like you're kind of looking for something to be annoyed by. KD's body in the art trailer was even different from the screenshot reveal. Probably just an older build.

Not really looking for something in particular man, just noticed... hope you're right though, that we just haven't seen enough to really judge. It's just, from what I've seen, as impressed as I am, this particular issue ticks me off

Wow you people are so annoying, I come to read news and end up seeing a bunch of cry babies smh. This is why i stay away from the forum as soon as the game drops every year.
again, i am admitting this whole thing is nitpicking before we even get to see finalized versions of the players/game itself... which, is asinine, really. i am/have been really impressed with all that has been rolled out so far --- the graphical improvements as seen in pictures and that one video, most especially. and i've been expressing that
mrKfresh, this is what we do man. this ain't even all that bad, either --- you should see some of the other posts --- people talking bout "if we're discussing legs, then we should also talk about how butts look in game" and all that. you're in OS man, for every poster discussing/complaining about gameplay X's and O's, there are those that gravitate towards the graphical aspects and how much player integrity is represented in graphics/animations. as another poster put it, "we're all passionate about sports gaming" and passion gets expressed in both intelligent and not-so-intelligent ways. if you're annoyed, and sh*t, nobody's telling you to feel otherwise, then don't go to the forums if it rubs you the wrong way. and if you're after news, there's plenty of that in the home page man. going to the forums, you already know you're going to encounter all of this... and it sure as hell ain't stopping any time soon, so why aggravate yourself? *sh*ts rhetorical man, you and all of OS knows that people will talk the same for 2K19 all the way to 2K94 or whatever*
I'm hoping we can edit players hairstyles (couldn't in 2K16) on our games.
Like Smart's hair is different in the video and Curry has his playoff look, but usually has his hair shorter than in that video.
Or is someone cuts or grows an afro, we should be able to edit it on our game/myleague.
    Anyone know if we can?
