MLB The Show 24 patch 1.05 is available today addressing a few various issues and adding postseason patches on hats for teams that make the playoffs in Franchise Mode. There were no gameplay or live content balance changes in the update. Check out the patch notes below.
MISCELLANEOUS
- – Added missing UI elements to the Showdown defeat screen.
- – Various minor bug fixes in the Challenge of the Week mode.
- – Various presentation tweaks and adjustments made to Road to the Show and Storylines.
- – Postseason patches will now display on hats when a team is in the playoffs in Franchise mode.
MLB The Show 24 also honors Jackie Robinson Day with a new program. Players can experience the “Robinson Breaks MLB’s Color Barrier” event alongside PXP and Multiplayer Missions, a Conquest Map and completing an Optional Storylines Collection to advance in the Jackie Robinson Day Program. By doing so, players can add Negro League Legends like Buck O’Neil, Hilton Smith, Hank Thompson and Jackie Robinson into their Diamond Dynasty Squad and unlock the exclusive Barrier Breakers Pack as you progress.

MLB The Show has partnered with the Jackie Robinson Foundation, Sony Interactive Entertainment, The Players Association and Major League Baseball to present the Jackie Robinson Foundation (JRF) Charity Pack. From April 15 to April 29 the JRF Charity Pack is available on digital platform stores across the US wherever MLB The Show is sold for $4.99. PlayStation and San Diego Studio will contribute 100% of the proceeds from this pack, after deductions for store platform fees, to the Jackie Robinson Foundation. These donations support the PlayStation-MLB The Show Scholars Program, furthering their mission of promoting equality in higher education for all.
