EA Sports has revealed their F1 24 gameplay deep dive video and blog today highlighting all of the new upgrades for the driving experience this year. The team collaborated extensively with Max Verstappen on developing the new Dynamic Handling, aiming to revolutionize the feeling of the car and ensuring a more realistic and predictable performance on both wheels and controllers.
The cars now boast a brand-new suspension kinematics system, heightening the sensation of weight distribution and center of gravity for a more realistic experience. Revised spring and damper forces ensure better responsiveness to varying loads in all corner types. This provides increased flexibility in car setups, allowing drivers to prioritize suspension compromises based on track layout and personal driving style. Whether seeking stability in high-speed sections or improved traction at low speeds, drivers will have enhanced control and realistic tuning tools at their disposal.
The new F1 24 temperature model introduces greater variation in tire temperatures influenced by factors like tire pressures, ambient conditions and driving style. Skilled drivers can extend their range by managing tire wear, while aggressive driving in dirty air or heavy braking will accelerate tire damage. Tire interaction with the track surface will also be improved, allowing drivers to strategically cool wet tires on drying tracks and create more uncertainty around pit stop decisions.

F1 24 will release on May 31 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, via EA App, Epic Games Store and Steam. Players purchasing the digital exclusive F1 24 Champions Edition will receive early access for up to three days, starting on May 28.
