Gameplay is great. OA is broken. Earliest Ive given up on a 2k game in half a decade

I've had a ton of trouble playing MyGM mode, my favorite game mode, because the server is down. It is a single player game mode and was not advertised to use the cloud for saves, rendering it senselessly dependent on an internet connection and connected 2K servers. I have no problem with requiring a connection for updates and building the game around gold subscribers and the online community, but without online associations, my current gen favorite with my friends, and the inability to play more than a simple exhibition game offline I would gladly return my digital copy for any type of refund if offered. 2K never informed us, the sports gaming community, that their amazingly beautiful product would be made useless without a functioning internet connection and solid connection to a comically unreliable server. It is not listed on the package to the game or listed in the digital download info nor were we cautioned about this extremely important fact through the official website or social media representatives such as @ronnie2k; I therefore claim that 2K was not only neglegent in their treatment of consumers, but fraudulent in their marketing campaign for the next generation platforms. I have been a loyal and vocal supporter of the NBA and NCAA 2K series since the Dreamcast days, but now I will fill my time with something more reliable and truthfully advertised such as FIFA 14 until concessions, apologies and reparations are made to those of us who have wasted $60 on a product that, to date, has only consistently delivered a fifth of the content I have paid for.

The game is undeniably beautiful, a true hallmark of how lush and deep the Xbox One and PS4 visuals are and can become, but without a consistent connection to servers (inexplicably required for single player game modes), owning NBA 2K14 on the next gen is the video game equivelant of going to a Ferrari dealership, plopping down a suitcase full of cash on the managers' desk, watching him set the bills ablaze and using them to light a Cuban cigar and in return only being allowed to press your nose to the showroom glass and fantasize about getting behind the wheel. Your money has been burned and you are mearly allowed to look, but not touch, this is what 2K has done to all of us.

The game is broken. Myplayer mode freezes so I have to restart the entire game. I have contacted 2k support and Ronnie 2k and got no reply on how to fix. Myplayer vanished and then had a totally new look and name... anyways so now I am stuck and cant play that mode....

Most of my issues have to do with the gameplay. For next gen its worse the last gen. Same bs as far as offensive rebounding, the ball security is sloppy, your often stuck in animations, passing the ball is risky even if the passer and receiver is wide open because 2k made it to arbitrarily go out of bounds I guess....I don't event try to pick nor roll because it will be a turnover not of my own doing. 2k did away with defensive settings. So you cant individualize defenses schemes on certain players. So teammates will sag or double team leaving well know 3pointers open or big men open for dunks and layups.

Sad to say but 2k14 is only better than 2k13 in graphics. Everything else is worse. How do you explain that?

Had initial problems with 2K servers not recognising my previous PSN account and a HORRIBLE monetization system that put VC in all major SINGLE player modes meant I couldn't initially play anything but exhibition games, then even after the patch shoddy connectivity and though a lesser gripe it seems there has been next to no worthwhile roster updates. This is a frustrating release and a worrying direction for this series.

still having controller issue while playing keeps going off every time I'll shoot, It was suppose to be fixed from the last patch but still an issue in order to prevent the issue I have to keep controller plugged in console this is the only game i have this issue with and it's actually the game i play the most I'll will be appreciative if problem get fixed sooner than later

Amazing engine, but too many gameplay issues and lack of modes for me. VC is a joke, as is Crew

Too many glitches such as MyGM mode, Nikeid, MyCareer Mode, and VC Points. Im very disappointed in how many problems I am having with this game.

Way to many glitches..poorly updated..major server issues..poor costumer service from the company..poor communication from the company concerning the games issues..vc based game poorly executed..no way to save files..ect ect..

It has not been good. when the servers are up it's been ok still gameplay issues need to be fixed
