Great game.

The gameplay is the best of the series, but the hyperactive presentation production, which yanks me 'out of the game' in both Broadcast and Follow cam modes sours my impressions enough to render the overall experience null. I give it a "9" for gameplay and a "2" for presentation. Mine is the highly subjective opinion of a presentation obsessive gamer, so I'm sure the mileage of others will vary. Patch in a stationary/zoom putting camera, ala Tiger 13, and this game becomes a purchase for me, and gets bumped to at least an overal "8" rating.

After playing the demo,no way am I getting this.I will stick with 13.

Until they come up with a new physics engine I'm done will Tiger Woods Golf.

It's kind of the way I feel about the Madden games...nothing really visually different or better.

The biggest benefit of the PS4 is that it should require a complete re-right of the core, Tiger Woods PGA Tour game engine,which seems to be on its last legs in terms of presentation stability. The developers have done a good job of cultivating a user base who see Follow camera as the "normal" way to play and view a golf game, while teasing us with Presentation and True-Aim options that never quite reach a blend that make them a viable option to the majority.

I'm hoping with at least 8 times the RAM, the developers can offer another more golfer oriented presentation option that shatters that paradigm. Not only do I want to view my shot from golfer's swing camera/eyes until it's at least halfway to its destination, before the camera swith, I want to watch the other player(s) in my virtual group play their shots from my golfer's eyes, wherever he would be standing.

We should also at last have the surrounding holes not only showing life and action taking place on them, but should be in play when an errant tee shot finds its way into them, instead of O.B.!

Looks promising, but is has in previous years, and something always seems to be a letdown. Im cautiously optimistic at this point.
