Madden NFL 12 News, Strategy Guides, Screenshots & Videos

Overall disappointing .

After reading these reviews before I bought Madden 12 I have to admit I was a lil disapointed , I was hoping for a higher score. Well I bought Madden 12 like I do EVERY YEAR , I'm usually one of the guys at the Game Stop at Midnight but not this year ... WELL.... I have played 3 games so far and let me say you guys reviews are a lil too harsh , this BY FAR is the best Madden in the series , graphics are great, game play is good and I haven't even fixed sliders yet , I do wish the audible system and hot routes etc were more like NCAA but no biggie .. the only part I don't care for is the play by play, did Collingsworth even record new lines this year ? sounds the same as last year to me and I'm not a huge Gus Johnson fan to begin with , but this game is worth 60 bucks, that's another problem I have , reviews say is it worth the 60 bucks to spend or just play last years game, dude it's only 60 freaking bucks not to mention how much do u trade in ? I didnt have to pay a penny for my Madden ... I traded in like 4 games and I'm good to go ... so I will end with this is a VERY good football game, u will enjoy it ... I give it a 8.5 .. if the commentary was better it would be a strong 9

The Madden series is starting to make it's comeback, and it all starts with Madden 12. The improvements made really stand out to me, and make this game much better than previous releases. However, the commentary is a major flaw of this game, and thus sometimes annoys me. All in all, I would recommend this game to my friends tenfold.

Edited: 5/15/11 the franchise improvements have inspired my enthusiasm. what will inspire me to preorder the game though?
5/16/11 - WOW. the talk is amazing about what is going to happen to franchise mode. if this can be done with solid truth, BEST MADDEN EVER. but if the past is any indicator. it may take 3 years to get it right.
6/2/11 - pictures of the traits. wow! hype is up. can they execute? will the 'features' work or will they be broken and we get a 'feature' that is really broken. broken not in gameplay but in use. I felt Madden 11 was 'solid'. bugs were fixable and a very strong non broken feature game. I hope this one can be the same. Otherwise the hype is too much. cautiously optimistic
6/11/11 - E3 video footage. WOW. starting lineups, camera angles look awesome. If everything that was in the game last year is there (cpu vs cpu simulation broadcast view mode) i am ultra stoked!
7/28/11 - brodcast mode awesome! multiplayer offline if it is there excellent. just want the game to know now. can't imagine it will be so much better then NCAA that it warrents above a 8.5
8/14/11- played the demo. the demo feels like all thier demos before, lacking what makes madden madden . . somehow. with that said. it was awesome feel the interface.
8/12/11 - reading early release OS article and others and you tube videos. should be ok.

After playing the early release. This is how I feel. Not hyped at all.
