Most realistic sports video game ever!

While there is not a big difference from last years game the improvements to RTTS and small details (like not having to wait for your foul ball to land) make it worth buying. The analog pitching make it more realistic but the fielding is an issue. The game is so good though I wonder if there will even be a need to buy next years version.

I've been an XBOX guy for quite awhile and I bought a PS3 last week just to play this game and I must admit after the first few games I was worried I'd just spent $300 dollars on a blu-ray player. I even went back to playing MLB 2K11 for a few games which is a solid game this year.
I decided to give "The Show" another shot and now I'm hooked. I don't want to put it down. Graphics, animation, and gameplay are all top notch. The commentary is good but not great and the only real gripes I have at the moment are on defense when line drives fwill seemingly pass right through an outfielder and roster update from a day or two ago seemed to be one for last years game as it added "Frank Francisco and "Matt Treanor" back to my favorite team the Texas Rangers. Not sure what's going on there.

I can't give it a 10 because that would mean there is no room for improvement, yet every year they are made.

While the new inclusions to the game aren't mindblowing, you can't deny how solid all around this year's iteration is.

I am hoping for some exciting things next year, namely new franchise inclusions such as player morale, more contract options to sign, single A ball, and more robust AI for trades and signings.
