Gameplay is the actual core of any sports video game (and game for that matter)

The gameplay may have ironed out its major glitches from last year and now play a functional (yet simple) game of baseball, the actual experience is still very sterile, lacks personality, attention to detail and all the other little things that make the sport of baseball so entertaining.

Animations are still Tomo-Tomo-Gotto-Mr Roboto! and lack that natural likeness to real athletes let alone their actual counterparts. Some player models are actually quite insulting...Take a look at David Wright as an example.

What 2K DOES have in their corner is probably one of the nicest presentations and stats/factiods displays in any sport that constantly keeps you updated with all kinds of juicy tidbits of statistical information on your team and players throughout your games and Franchise.

In fact, I would almost say everything about MLB 2K10 screams polish and excellence....except for the actual gameplay , which feels like some sort of evolved and prehistorically animated High Heat offspring at the same time

Well I like the game and the features,But im giving it a 7.5 because of the things they still havent put into the game like talking about the world series winner the next season and all that team to get there. Its so much they can do to make this the best baseball game out there.But still its worth the buy and over all a great game.

This game is vastly improved over the likes of 2K8 and 2K9. From fielding to presentation. The navigation takes a few moments to get used to, but I'm pretty much enjoying what they offer. Minus the lack of a check swing (Hurry up with that patch please.)
