Doesn't seem much improved over last year's version. In fact, if you take away the slightly better looking interface and the ability to add custom walk-up music via My MLB Music, it's actually worse.

For example, where the previous game in RTTS had a smooth animation for when your player goes back to the base after a pitch to the batter, this game has you lunging back to the base, only to magically jump back into position. Also, the new base-running controls don't seem to work as planned; you can stop real easy, but turning around is almost impossible, despite how simple it should be considering the control scheme.

The announcers pretty much say the same stuff, and they still don't pronounce Freddy Sanchez right!

The stadium models don't look any better, either. Some stadiums are still missing upgrades they got in 2007!

Overall it's still a great game, but not so much when held up to last year's edition.

Probably one of the only sports game that didnt let me down. Very pleased customer. Having said that, a semi-bare franchise mode, with some bugs, and problems(i.e. too many players change teams). Rtts is amazing but the fielding camera for outfielders near the wall, needs work, sometimes makes me miss a ball. LET ME CHOOSE MY PITCHING VIEW. I want pitcher pitching view. NOT OUTFIELD. let me choose.....all in all though

Best baseball game I've ever played.

Best baseball game yet. Would have given it a 10, but all the bugs with the rosters and RTTS at release doomed that.
