From the look of it I'm going to enjoy this one after all.

This will be my first 2k baseball game, loved 07 The Show so hopefully this will be just as good or better than that.

Really disappointed in last year's version, so while I'm hoping for a home run this year, I'll be very happy with a solid double off the wall.

Steve's beta impressions really have me psyched for this game...

With the new pitching and throwing mechanics it seems like this game should be rather fun to play this year. Will see how the AI plays throught out a season.

I was initially worried about the progress of MLB 2k8 due to the lack of information put out by 2k sports. However, in the past few weeks we have had an information overload and it looks as if Brinkman and company have got this series headed in the right direction. While the commentary/presentation/atmosphere appear to be lacking, they seemed to have tightened up the most important element and that's core gameplay. You can give me the greatest commentary/presentation/atmosphere in the world (MLB 2k5 comes to mind), but I'll take gameplay over aesthetics any day.

Better than last year.
