As far as managerial games go this one can't be beat in the depth/statistical department. Great fun in the online world.

Best baseball sim ever made.

OOTP is, in my opinion, the greatest computer game ever. I realize that's saying a lot, but the fact is that there really aren't that many games I like, and this game is one that I can play for hours on end without getting bored. I've never derived so much fun from a game - and yes, I'm a geek and a nerd and fun for me is creating imaginary universes that don't need super-enhanced graphics.

No other baseball text sim even comes close in breadth and depth. Terrific game!

There isnt a game I've played in my life that is as immersive as this one is. There is always something new to try, and the game is truly what you make it.

OOTPB 2007 is truly a wonderful game.

I have been a big fan of it since version three. Soon there will version 9, which will be the best version ever.

The developers really listen to their customers. That is the secret to their success..

If you have ever wanted to set up your own baseball universe, OOTPB 2007 will let you do it...and you can do it a hundred different ways. You can play any era in baseball since 1901. It is baseball the way you want to play it. You can custom design your baseball leagues.

The stats output are realistic whether you sim the games or do like I do...play them out.

It is the best money I ever spent in my life. You can enjoy a great game at less than 10 cents a day.

I gave it a 9.5 score only because it is very complex and has a steep learning curve. It is not for lazy people. But it is for people that love a realistic baseball simulation.

Everybody was raving about it, and for a while I dismissed it because it was a "text" game. But I sure was glad I downloaded it, easily one of my favorite games of all time.
