Some cool features, but it's not even close to The Show. Honestly.

My brother liked this game for some strange reason. Not I.

I had fun making glitch videos and posting them up to my Arena.

It is absolutely the worst game I have ever played. Animations are terrible. So are player models. Create-A-Player is terrible. Pitching is horrific. What the players do after they get a hit when they're coming out of the box looks like they're in the Special Olympics. Players are far from what they actually look like in real life. Home-run-derby is like a kiddy mode now, it's not set up like it is in real life. If a player has 100 contact and 100 power, he should hit the ball far every game and maybe strikeout 50 times a season, not go 1-4 with a single and two strikeouts in a game against a mediocre pitcher.

For all the negativity surrounding this title, I've been thoroughly enjoying a two-team franchise since it was released. I concur with the issues regarding fielding, but find it to be an overall enjoyable experience with a fun-to-use pitching system.

Edited: I guess I'm just not as concerned with hyper-realism when it comes to baseball games. I can understand to an extent as I'm that way with hockey games, but at the same time I think the OS community is a little too crazy when it comes to baseball games. I have 2k7 and it was ok when it came out and it's pretty bad now. 2k8 I rented and ended up returning early, but with 2k9 I'm having an amazing time with it thus far.

patch made it much better....It's the best baseball game on the 360

The game is fun to play, but there are too many issues to consider it a great baseball game. for 2k10, the devs need to step up and fix the fundamental problems. even patches can't fix the mess this game is.
