Re: Matches to Watch

If we are talking about matches in general, here are a few easily accessible ones. Midnight Express vs. Fantastics Clash of the Champions 1, Bret Hart vs. Mr. Perfect Sumerslam 91, Barry Windham vs. Bam Bam Bigelow Starrcade 88, Great Muta vs. anyone.

Re: Matches to Watch

Has Melina Vs. Alicia Fox been mentioned?

Kidding.

I'd have to say Daniel Bryan against Dolph Ziggler a few months ago on RAW was pretty darn good considering it was a TV match.

Re: Matches to Watch

I can't remember the year, but the first time I ever watched wrestling The Rock and Triple H had an insane cage match on an episode of Raw where Rock barely hit the floor outside the cage before Triple H got out.

Might be tough to recall just from that, but that's the match that stands out in my mind because I knew nothing about wrestling at the time. I don't really watch WWE these days but still have great memories from it.

Re: Matches to Watch

I've been going back and watching countless matches from about 1995-2004 (my favorite years of wrestling) as well as a few others from recently, since I've stopped watching. and these are some that I absolutely love.

HBK vs Bret Hart (Iron Man Match)

HBK vs Razor Ramon (Ladder Match)

Several matches from the Hardyz, Dudleyz, and Edge & Christian. The first tag team ladder match between the Hardyz vs E &C, the ladder match between the 3 teams, the two TLC matches, the 3rd TLC match that included Benoit & Jericho along with those 3 teams. All classics in my book. but again, you can't wrong with most matches between any combination of those 3 teams. the tables matches, the cage matches, etc.

Triple H vs Cactus Jack (Street Fight)

Triple H vs Shawn Michaels (Street Fight)
Triple H vs Shawn Michaels (Hell In A Cell)(very long, but never seemed to get boring to me)

Jeff Hardy vs RVD (Ladder Match for Hardcore title)
Jeff Hardy vs RVD (Hardcore Match)

Chris Benoit vs Triple H vs Shawn Michaels

Jeff Hardy vs Edge (Ladder)(I think from Extreme Rules 2009)

Chris Jericho vs Chris Benoit (Ladder)

Bret Hart vs Chris Benoit (Owen Hart tribute match)(probably the best WRESTLING match I've seen)

Rock vs Austin (WrestleMania 17 & 19..I prefer 19)

Bret Hart vs Stone Cold (Submission Match)

Can't go wrong with any of the cruiserweight division matches from WCW. Misterio vs Guerrero at Halloween Havoc is a classic. Jericho vs Guerrero at Fall Brawl. countless combinations of wrestlers making great matches.

Triple H vs Jeff Hardy vs Edge at Armaggedon 2008, I believe.

July 5, 1999.

It's on The Rock's most recent DVD collection.

Re: Matches to Watch

HBK/Taker from IYH:Bad Blood in '97, the first Hell in a Cell Match.

My favorite WWE match ever, plus the very badass debut of Kane.

Re: Matches to Watch

ill leave the classics to these guys, but ill tell you what, i watched Summerslam the other night, totally forget what year, had to be mid-late 90s. it was Rock v Brock and it was damn entertaining. the crowd turned on rock who i think was a face at the time...brock was the heel. if im wrong please correct me, but i know brock was a heel. it held my attention and i had forgotten how good it was. not a classic though, but should be on the short list of good SS matches.
