I really don't know what to think of Khali as World Champion. If it's to be a transition champion till sunday, I'm ok with it as long as KANE wins the title for all the years worth of work. If not, what a waste.
WWE is so stupid.............they could have built some suspense and just had the battle royal at the PPV to crown a new champ = a few more buyrates.

Why Khali though? He lost all credibility as a monster or a World Champion after the Cena matches. Kennedy should have never been moved to RAW. Crazy.

Good point. Khali should've won the title while he was mowing everyone down not after he gets FU'ed through a table. Doesn't really make sense.

So stupid to have Khali win like that...I just don't get that buildup at all.

I think the outcry isn't greater because nobody here gives a crap about Smackdown. There's rarely a live discussion, and when there is there's only like two of us active in it lol. They could have put the title on Funaki and everybody would have just shrugged and moved on in life.
I, on the other hand, find...err...well, found Smackdown to be the most entertaining show on TV, but they're ruining it fast. First they raided the roster. Now their top guy goes down and they put the title on KHALI?! WTF.
Why not Hardy? Finlay? MVP? Yeah, maybe they haven't been built to main event status yet, but they have the skills and we could use a surprise occasionally.
How about Flair? Sure the guy's 60 y/o and needs to be carried every match, but even at 60 he can wrestle circles around Khali.
And my biggest question, why not bring Kennedy back to Smackdown? He's getting forgotten about on Raw and he has a TON of talent. Plus, how fitting would have it been if Edge took MITB from Kennedy due to Kennedy's injury...and then Kennedy to get revenge and win the title from Edge due to Edge's injury.
Oh well, Smackdown just came down a huge notch with the new champ. I think I'll be fast forwarding through the show every Saturday so I can get my MVP/Hardy/Finlay matches of the week, and then just delete it.
Sadly, I think ECW is my favorite WWE show right now.
