It's not so much that they should have a tournament to build the belt, but I HATE when there's more than one multi-man match on a show like this. They need to kill some time with Cena until his next feud, so that match fits. But they could've had a four man tournament (it is only a four man brand) with the first round starting next week and the title match at Vengence. It's not like they were backed into a corner with this.

yeah... Seriously though, how badly does a company like TNA or any other wrestling company that can't get above a 1.0 feel when a 4 man brand is still pulling in 1.5's? It's the oddest thing I've ever seen really.
So my guess is Benoit or Burke win the title at Vengeance and they go feud while Punk and Cor Von also start to feud....
Man I would be so happy if ECW could get Noble, Venis, and a couple other of good wrestlers to fill out the bottom of the show with a 8 or 9 minute opening match every show... it would do wonders for the quality of the show IMO.

Jamie Noble would be excellent in ECW and would allow him to get back on TV. Shoot, the man tore up ROH when he was there.

But really though... I would have to imagine most WWE guys could tear up ROH... They're in the E for a reason... and sure some might be their just because they're massive freaks, but most I imagine would tear up the indy's making a lot of guys they go against look really bad.

Sounds interesting. It would be neat if we saw Papa Shango trying to bring VKM back to life and in one scene and then later in the night we see The Godfather.

Vince needs to come out and pay his respect to Benoit. WWE's vision of trying to blur reality and fiction has really backfired.
I wonder how they will handle Raw tonight?

It's over, it's not even on WWE.com anymore.

I wonder if that's a short term omission because of Benoit's recent death?

From Tmz.com
The incident comes on the heels of the shocking death of former WWE wrestler "Sensational" Sherri Martel, and the supposed "assassination" of WWE head honcho Vince McMahon. TMZ has learned that the WWE is scrapping all references to the McMahon death storyline on tonight's episode of "Raw.'
