Well there is another thread in here saying that WWE13 theme is attitude era. So that might be a dead give away as to why New Age Outlaws might be in this year. Would love to see them in. It would be very awsome.

Now for the tidbit reveal on WWE ’13. It gives me great pleasure to reveal that we’ve been able to increase the CAS Layer count for PS3 from 32 to 64. This is huge news for our PS3 owners and something the PS3 fans have been requesting. We worked extremely hard to optimize the Create-A-Superstar system to support this and we want to continue to work hard to address your feedback.
Does the 360 already have CAS layer count at 64?

I'm pretty sure that the 360 already had the 64 layer count, it was just the PS3 that didn't.

I've seen that Jim Ross is rumored to be in on commentary with King and Cole. That's one thing that's going to get me excited about this game but again, unless they bring back GM Mode, I just don't see it being a buy for me.

We don't even need voice overs, text would be more effective.

This should result in a true to life WWE programming with actual stories and cut scenes...Make many default s for different scenarios and let us still have the ability to edit and create our own stories.

It would be GM and Know Your Role's story mode's grand child.
This, right here. If they did this, it would be the best mode ever.

Re: WWE 13 info

I want total control in my WWE Universe mode i want to set up my feuds before the show starts. Give me options menu to pick who is going after which title before the month starts. A lot like TEW 10.

Better AI for TLC and other gimmick matches. To many times the AI would set up and then take down the table or ladder they just set up!.

The Ladder match is long over due for an upgrade. Also along with all matches that involve more than 2 wrestlers.

Re: WWE 13 info

Hopefully in the upcoming months we hear good news about improvements in any of the following areas:
  • online stability
  • Universe mode depth and variety
  • computer-controller wrestler AI
  • Online Universe mode

Some gameplay mechanics I'd like to see addressed:
  • There should be far fewer pins after simple moves. Understanding that the WWE games will probably continue to be fighting games moreso than wrestling games, three-counts still should only really be a threat to a player or AI character in the following situations: following a finisher, following a groggy grapple during a particularly a long match, following a weapon shot, on a leverage pin, and on a dirty pin.
  • a submission system that's worth a damn. Breaking Point submissions don't capture the drama of applied submissions in the WWE whatsoever, and they also don't function as a recovery point for your own character after a particularly rapid sequence of moves.
  • an idea of wrestler style. Though the movesets and character abilities do a nice job of differentiating the characters, the AI of each wrestler could go further. For example, big-man wrestlers should be more vulnerable by pushing the pace on them and attacking their legs (and less vulnerable otherwise), small and faster guys should be made vulnerable by keeping them from quickening the pace, submission artists (the few the WWE has) should avoid slugfests (offensively and defensively), less technical wrestlers should avoid submissions (offensively and defensively), and so on. There should be an emphasis on "in-ring strategy" as it were, beyond the limb targeting system.

To be clear, I still play WWE 12 rather frequently; I quite enjoy Universe mode.
