Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?

Seems like the best way to enjoy Universe mode is to just let everything happen and roll with the punches. Seems to definitely take on a life of its own.

Nah, it's just as much fun to throw in your own twists to see how it deals with it, like I had Lawler win the title and I'm going to turn him heel myself and see how long it lasts because I doubt he holds on to the title past Royal Rumble.

i may just end the brand split lol.. whoever ends up in the main event for the wwe title and world title, make it a 4 way dance and the winning gets the undisputed belt..

with all the issues with not being able to use an all caw created brand etc, which is very disappointing, this is the next best thing for me i guess.. lol.

The Miz must be the most unpopular guy in my universe. On his way to the ring to face Mysterio and he's attacked from behind by Morrison. The match starts and then another cutscene and here comes ADR who also attacked Miz. Mysterio pinned him after that.
Miz got his revenge by attacking Mysterio after the match though.

Why couldn't you? Put the same titles on both shows. 25 guys on Raw, 25 guys on Smackdown. CAW shows.

The game requires at least 15 WWE talent on each brand.

Had a weird glitch last night, CM Punk vs. SCSA on Raw....except HHH was standing in the middle of the ring randomly for some reason the whole match. Just standing there, doing nothing. Then after the match, a cutscene where HHH runs down and turns heel. Never a dull moment I guess.

Also, the Universe decided to delete all my custom teams for some reason. It disbanded all my stables I made, I was POED! That was another glitch.

Make sure the file saves. I created Air Boom and backed out and they were gone. So I did it again and really sat there watching the file save before I backed out or did anything. No issues since. Not saying that's the actual solution, but it's what worked for me.

Watched a really great 20+ minute No DQ Triple Threat Match on Superstars between Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater and Tyler Kidd.

These guys were pretty much done by the 10th minute but no one could successfully land a pinfall without it being interrupted. Lots of back-and-forth and momentum swings.

Finally, Heath Slater stepped out to collect himself and while Justin Gabriel was on the upswing, Tyler Kidd reversed a move into a german suplex pin.

Slater ran in with a chair but couldn't stop the pin in time.

No shenanigans though I really didn't understand why Gabriel and Slater were in this thing when they are teammates.

Looking at the SmackDown schedule and Ezekial Jackson is in a 4-on-1 match. I might have to watch that one as well instead of playing it.

It almost seems to be hard-coded in the game that Slater turns on Gabriel. You would now make the 3rd person in this thread to have seen this. They are in the same team in my game, but Heath Slater had a face turn and they remained a team after turning on Gabriel after a match. I'll see how it plays out. I'd prefer if my teams stayed together for exhibition, so long as they don't tag together anymore in Universe if they really did turn on each other.

And there are no 4 on 1 matches... you can have 3 on 1 and 3 on 2, but there is no way to get a 4 on 1, at least in exhibition.

Have a co op universe going right now with one of my friends and we are having a blast. He is taking over RAW and I've got Smackdown. Currently, we have Air Boom as our tag champs who just defeated Legacy and Wrestlemania. I have Eddie Guerrero as my I.C. champ who defeated ADR at Wrestlemania to retain. Then we come to Dolph Ziggler, who entered the Royal Rumble at number one and won it, to face John Cena at the grandest stage of them all and win the coveted WWE Championship (Smackdown title in our universe). I then gave Ziggler the Attitude Era WWE title and switched it to the brands major belt. I'm pretty excited to see what the next couple of months bring. Just recieved Christian and Swagger through the WWE draft so I've got some guys to work with. Ortons been out for almost three months since ADR injured him in the second week. Hoping to keep the strap on Ziggler for awhile but who knows in this universe. Whenever we play matches, we always play against each other because it leaves matches wide open for victories.

On a side note, his Raw brand has Undertaker as the World Heavyweight champion (beat Lesnar at WM for the belt and to continue his streak) and Sin Cara as the US Champ.

Pretty exciting stuff.

Kofi just turned on Bourne, but they still hold the Tag Titles.

Christian and Sheamus just battled for the #1 contender spot which Christian won but was attacked after the match by Dolph Ziggler who just dropped the IC belt to Daniel Bryan.

I only control the SD brand and I let RAW do its own thing.

On RAW the Undertaker won the WWE Title at the Elimination Chamber and will defend it at Wrestlemania vs the Royal Rumble Winner Kofi Kingston.

Also on the WM card is a Hell in a cell triple threat match between The Rock, John Cena, and Randy Orton.

John Morrison is about to defend the US title vs Ezekiel Jackson.

On my SD brand, Punk and Barrett are in a feud, I had D. Bryan and Dolph but we'll see where it goes now that he attacked Christian. Christian is facing off against Alberto Del Rio for the World title at WM.
