How much have you messed with Story Mode? Give some impressions on that. I'm really interested in that, seeing that I like playing TEW. I know it's not going to be like TEW, but is it at least fun? Can you make weird stories?

Is it true you can only use Created Superstars 10 times in a given Create-A-Story?

The create a story mode is the most interesting to me, is it tedious to create a storyline, and how does it play out?

Hi guys,

I also have this game and wanted to shed some light into the story mode.

I did a story mode involving legacy and triple h/Shawn Micheals.

In my game, Randy Orton is the WWE Champion.

I stared a monday night raw show in march and began the show with Mr. Mcmahon coming out on and announcing that at WM 25, Randy orton would be facing Triple H for the WWE title in a falls count anywhere match. (You can add your own text, facial expressions, crowd reactions, ) the options are very deep.

I then had RKO interrupt and complain about triple h not deserving a title shot. I was able to have his music interrupt vince and come out on the stage. It is very much like how u would see on tv.

Next in the story mode, Triple H was found knocked out cold in the locker room area by shawn micheals. HBK then proceeded to the ring and called out RKO.

Instead of RKO coming out, he was ambushed my the other two members of legacy and was taken out on a stretcher.

RKO then came out into the ring and legacy did a promo stating they were taking over raw and would eliminate anyone who got in their way.

The Raw logo then appeared as it does when the show goes off the air.

A couple of other things, you can add announcers text to your actions at beginning and end of shows. For example, in this story line, the following raw u could open the show and have the annoucers condeming legacy or taking about the feud.

You get to edit the length of each section of the storyl ine, i.e. how long a backstage beating lasts, the length of a promo, contract signings, formation of stables, etc..

I just thought I'd share the beginning of my storyline so ppl could see how in depth this mode really is.

If anyone has more specific modes on this, ask.

But IMO, the storyline mode will keep this game very fresh and is a great addition to those who like to write a good story and then play it.

Also, you can have the direction of the storyline change depending on different match outcomes.

That sounds amazing. The only drawback that I've heard about story mode is the limitation placed on created characters. But, for a first time effort, it sounds as though its pretty damn good.

That is a drawback yes. But how many times are you going to play the same storyline?

You could always delete a few storylines and allow more. But hopefully there is a patch since there is a WCW brand and titles and I'm sure people are going to want all the nWo wrestlers etc..

I thought that a created wrestler could only be used 10 times in story mode for a given year. So its 10 times per story? If so, then thats not near as big of a deal as I thought.
