he sacrifices his body everytime he preforms. he even has a gimick that works with the "gold standard" moniker, but still he remains a b list superstar...why??

Because he sucks on the mic.

Because he has no charisma.

Because he doesn't know how to work a match.

He all about spots and a few random suplexes that impresses some "smarks." But in all reality, he's a career mid-carder, at best.

Correct. Shelton is a decent wreslter. But he will never ever be no Cena are Undertaker and so on. He will always be a mop up wrestler.

Shelton can really pull off some great moves. However, he has also bombed some. The pas two MIB matches he was in he screwed up to key moves that would have been great if pulled off. As mentioned, he also has no heart. He is very lackluster in the locker.

i think benjamin is a better actor than john cena...lol...did you see his atempt at making movies. we judge wrestlers too much on how many peoples on the band wagon and not enough on talent.... and batista is in the lime-light, but works the mic like a caveman....

As TimmeH said, does are all the reasons Shelton will always be a mid-card wrestler. Shelton may be a better amateur wrestler but Cena is a way better "wrestler". Face it, the dude can't even carry a mop in a match. Personally I liked him better when he was in Team Angle and I find Charlie Haas more entertaining when he did the impersonation gimmick and thats not saying much.

Wait, did someone say Benjamin is beyond worthless? Anyone with a brain would rather watch him vs. just about any other midcarder than Cena/Show submission matches or garbage like that.

Is he a future World champ? Probably not. Does he have mic skills or good charisma? Not really. But this is sports entertainment and he is the sports part to me. He's always good for a solid PPV match when he gets the chance as well, and well he doesn't wrestle at the best flow, he is fun to watch. I couldn't disagree more that he is "worthless." He serves great purpose.

"worthless"" lol i would rather watch him then any of the top guys in wwe now.You guys kill me with that no charisma and mic skills crap when was either of those things reqite to be on top just ask mysterio and jeff hardy,cody rhodes and that other generic guy.If the wwe wants to push someone they will push then regardless.
