Madden '10, Other EA Games to Include Downloadable Songs

Joystiq and MTV have posted some news about DLC enabled soundtracks for next years EA games. What do you think about this? Would you pay for the songs?

Nope, I usually just stream music off my computer through the 360 as is, no need for in-game soundtracks nevermind DLC soundtracks for me

lol Hell no! thats the craziest idea this isn't I-tunes its a game. they charge enough.

shhhhhh let ea think this is a good idea, then when it fails epically maybe they wont have enough money to re-up the exclusive license again.

The people working on this stuff, I'm sure, don't have much to do with the game play. Yours is a very easy statement to make but it's just not relevant.

I'm not interested in paying extra money to listen to a track in-game.

I beg to differ. EA like every company has a budget and every dime of that budget going to unwanted schemes like this is 1 less going towards actual game development.
We just had an EA rep in Game Informer talk about budget limitations.

Actually I would. There have been a few songs from Fifa that'd I'd love to have. They normally have some really cool, international tunes. Madden, some, just not as many.

Why would I buy music to play in a game if I can just use the XBOX Media Player to play it during the game?
