EA Proposes to Acquire Take-Two Interactive Software

If this happens say goodbye to GTA, Bioshock, and all of the 2k sports titles. They will ruin or discontinue all of them!! Sad day for ALL gamers if this happens.

EA is a corporation. The great minds are all the business people in the board room. And they're great at making great piles of money, not great games. I just don't see how that can be called 'great' for gaming.

GTA is owned by Rockstar, and the exact relationship between 2K and Rockstar is, to date, unknown. There was talk of them splitting away like Bungie did from MS.

Is Bioshock 2K's IP? Not sure about that one.

2K Sports, for sure. I am NOT a happy camper about this.

How much money does EA really need?

Is this not a monopoly?

SO, this will make 2K sports game snot exist in the future, but what does this mean for future GTA games? I don't trust EA to make the next GTA

After reading it again, it looks like they really want RockStar and other non sports studios. Which signals me to think Visual Concepts will be without a publisher. So if EA were to purchase the TakeTwo, MLB and NBA will be disillusioned.

What he said, all EA cares about is making money. That just buy out there competitors.
