Re: Euro 2012

The reign of spain continues in the ukraine.

Best individual side ever? hard to say...
Best dynasty ever? hardly a doubt.

I agree with the above that a match against Germany would be nice to see. They are about the only side that can match them in terms of general attacking prowess...

The big question going forward for Spain is motivation...we see it in sports often...a great team often has trouble summoning the kind of mentality necessary to win all the time... That being said, if they reach the semis of 2014, the other three squads better be on their game, because the Spaniards will turn it on.

Uruguay would give Spain fits.

I don't see how motivation is even a doubt with this side.

I think Gotze will be on the Silva level, at least. Only twenty years old right now. So damn young.

Also, I'm not saying Germany will dominant. But I do think they have a better chance to beat Spain than any other team currently out there.

I know this is somewhat off topic but man Barcelona is going to be even more dangerous than before now that they a true attacking fullback in Jordi Alba.

I believe that if Germany would have beaten Spain had they played. But alas, I'm only talking I'm hindsight. I know ill be rooting for Germany (outside of the USMT) come 2014 to win the world cup.

I just hope that Löw is still the coach in two years.

Dude you're not a real footy fan if you can't even see that while the 2 made great runs, you have to have the vision, touch, and technique to execute those passes. Your prejudice is ridiculous.

I was very happy Spain won. For a team stuck in neutral for most of the tournament they sure showed what they can do to attack.

Me too. I'm especially happy they beat Italy in the fashion they did, as I strongly dislike (avoiding using the word hate) them.
