USA at Slovakia (11.14) and Denmark (11.18)

As you may or may not know, the USA men will be playing two friendlies in Europe in about two weeks' time.

First comes Slovakia in Bratislava on the 14th, followed by Denmark in Aarhus on the 18th.

The squad for the friendlies should be released by the end of this week, but it has been confirmed that left-back Edgar Castillo has been called into the squad. This is significant because it marks the first player to switch his national team affiliations to the USA following changes in FIFA rules. Jermaine Jones is another high-profile player who has been given the clearance to switch, although he is currently recovering from surgeries to repair a broken leg.

No word yet. ESPN seems likely, possibly FSC. The Slovakia game on the 14th is still time TBD, while Denmark game on the 18th is at 2:30pm ET.

Now that Davies is out what do you think is the best lineup for the front 6?

Throwing a name out there to replace Davies: Robbie Findlay, Striker for RSL. Speedy guy who puts a lot of pressure on defences with his speed. Anybody agree he should be given a shot?

I think that with Altidore, Ching, and Cooper as our current options up front we need somebody that can bring the speed Davies brought to the team.

Yeah, Findley is the main name floating around there for someone who can "replace" Davies. I'd like to see Chris Rolfe get a shot as well. And what about this name: Eddie Johnson. Now would be the perfect time for him to get his act together and play like he really can.

It would be great to see Johnson come through. Just don't see it happening and would never count on it.

I actually don't want a replacement in the starting lineup. Everybody hates when Dempsey plays in the midfield, but when he plays forward he does great things. I think if he is put up there right behind Jozy, good things can happen.

A reason is because Holden has impressed and I think he can handle starting on the right side.
