Which would explain why Dynamo Moscow went to Glasgow and beat them a week and a half ago? Then they had to struggle to advance with a 90th minute winner in Moscow?

They've had some pretty big wins at Celtic Park the last few years in the CL Group Stages. They've beaten and drawn United and beaten Milan and Villarreal.
So yes, they have beaten some good teams at home in this competition.
