Next years El Classico is shaping up to be something special next year. You could even make an argument that the top 6 best players in the World will be playing in that game (Ronaldo, Kaka, Messi, Ibrahimovic, Iniesta, and Xavi). [Reply]

Yes, except I like Maicon better, but we can't go wrong with Alves can we? Also we're forgetting Puyol, Pepe, Toure, Sergio Ramos, etc.

I like Maicon better as well.

And I know I left some people out. But the dudes I mentioned, you can honestly make a case that those guys are the top 6 players in the world. I know there are some people that would mention Gerrard, Ribery, Torres, ect. But if someone were to mention those 6 in particular no one would blink an eye. [Reply]

True that, true that. But here's the more pressing question, whose got the better starting XI?

Barça: Valdes, Alves, Puyol, Pique, Maxwell (or Abidal), Toure, Iniesta, Xavi, Messi, Henry, Ibrahimovic

RM: Casillas, Heinze, Pepe, Albiol, Ramos, Diarra, Gago, Robben, Ronaldo, Kaka, Benzema (plus Sneijder)

From my point of view, simply for the reason that they still has the team, that performed that amazingly well last season.

Madrid has to show, that their offence ensamle can work together at all :-) If they do, it will be a close race.
If they don't....it will be Barca again (for the classico and the league title).. [Reply]
