As you can see, the soccer forum has received somewhat of a face-lift. We will now have separate sub-forums for FIFA and PES gaming related topics, as well as the traditional soccer-related general discussion forum.

Please be patient as I'll be moving threads into their appropriate places as quickly as I can. Hopefully this change will make things a bit easier to navigate, especially with the beautiful game back in full-swing across Europe and FIFA & PES due to release this fall.

If you have any comments or suggestions for further changes, please post them in this thread.

Going to start moving some stuff now... And the re-directs will last for three days from the time of the move to help ease the truly Earth-shattering ramifications of these recent developments.


UPDATE: OK, did the first 10 pages. I moved a ton of threads, so if I put any in the wrong forum please let me know. Once all these re-directs expire, I think this is going to be great. And again, guys please let me know if there is anything we can do to improve the new format.

I've been pondering the arrival of two sub-forums for PES and FIFA for quite some time. Finally there will be some segregation in the Soccer forum. Nice.

Excellent work, sir. Wishes do come true! I offered to gather up emblems for all twenty EPL teams to add to the avatar section, and it looks like that is going to be happening at last. Looks like soccer will not longer be the Rodney Dangerfield of OS.

Hey, If you need some help with this let me know. I'm able to shuffle some stuff around, as well. Time to grow the "Footie"on OS! Maybe one day we'll be THE football forum! Brian

Glad to see the positive response thus far. And Moses, my original proposal was for a two pronged split for gaming and general discussion. But a main forum with two sub-forums was a better logistical fit and Soccer and FIFA/PES made the most sense. Believe me, segregation was not my (or anyone else's) intention. I was actually a bit worried about messing up our nice tight-knit community. Ahh, look at me, I'm getting a bit verklempt...

Can I just suggest creating a FIFA Interactive League/Tournament sub-forum?

It'll further help keep the FIFA thread from clutter. With Be a Pro 10 v 10 coming out and juding by the leagues/tournaments that went on in FIFA 08 here at OS, it'll be a much better place to keep things centrally located. I'm sure people will want to get 10 v 10 teams and tournaments/leagues going when 09 is released.
