Bobo Blade, , I can just imagine the German announcers reciting that name.

Not that it makes that much of a difference, but it is actually Bobo Balde.

C'mon The Hoops!

Re: The Transfer Thread

- Manchester City are tracking Pauleta of Paris St Germain, but the French team are likely to extend his contract

- PSG are also interested in signing AC Milan's Vikash Dhorasoo, who has only played ten or so times for them this season. Milan have also confirmed the signing of Johann Vogel from PSV.

- Still with Milan, defender Kakha Kaladze has said he wants to leave, with Chelsea being his favoured destination (could be part of a possible swap deal with Hernan Crespo)

- free agent Vladimir Smicer has been linked with Birmingham City, Charlton, Lens and Bordeaux.

- Hamburg and Bolton are interested in Liverpool's Dietmarr Hamann whose contract with the European champs ends in June

Re: The Transfer Thread

I've heard from quite a few sites that Barcelona really wants Henry and is willing to pay up to 50 million+ for him but Wenger has said no.

Ferdinand is close to re-signing with Man U.

Wenger also believes that Cole may go to Chelsea.

Henry and Eto'o would be an awesome strikeforce but it won't happen cos Barce don't have the cash (unless they can secure a shirt sponsorship deal soon). Not to mention Henry is happy at Arsenal and should be regarded 'untradeable' by the club IMO.

Speaking of Barcelona, Gerard Lopez has signed a four-year deal with AS Monaco.

And Real Madrid are likely to release Luis Figo, with Inter Milan and Liverpool interested in him. I personally see him going back to Portugal though.

I wouldn't be so sure, last I heard Henry was unhappy with the situation at Arsenal because the club had not made an effort to bring in a few quality players. I also don't think Barca would have any problems securing the cash because im pretty sure they just signed a new kit sponsor from somewhere in Asia(I think it was a phone outfit or something of that nature)

With that said I fully agree with you, it won't happen. Thierry is the reason for Arsenal's sucess this season and they can't afford to part with him.

I don't think he was really unhappy. He just said that to compete with the best Arsenal needs to buy some really good players. He has said numerous times that he doesn't want to leave. Chelsea offered 50 million for him before the start of last season and he declined. I don't think he has any problems with Arsenal.

Re: The Transfer Thread

Man U are apparently going after PSV's Ji-Sung Park.

He's an awesome player. I hope he sticks with DMB and crew, or at least goes somewhere other than Man U.
