Phantom call on the penalty, as Jenas barely made contact during/after a wide shot by RVP. Couldn't believe my eyes when I put one in with Song from about 25... it wasn't a very hard shot, just a seeing-eye grounder that found the bottom corner. Cesc shielded then split two defenders before lashing it home from the top of the box, only minutes after taking a knock. I think he still had the injury symbol on when it happened...

Not much to write about here, aside from rainy conditions that noticeably cut down on player movement. Couldn't get Arshavin & Walcott going on the wings like did in the first game and couple with Stagnant's self-described "negative football" tactics, he shut me down. Only goal came on a hopeful long ball right up the middle of the pitch directly over Vermaelen's head. I tried to lob clear it away, but I got the weak header animation right to Defoe. Nice job by Stagnant to coolly slot it home for the win.

Figure I'd post this to get the standings updated. Me and stagnant had a really rough night last night as we both got disconnected once by the EA servers and the third time the game just hung in a cut scene for the subs. There are no minutes next to goals and and I'll wait for stagnant's PM to update his goal scorers. No bookings in any of the matches.
