Newbie questions

I'm not really much of a baseball fan but I do dig career modes where I can create a guy and build him up. So I'm thinking of getting The Show for the RTTS mode. I have a few questions if anyone can answer them.

1. The game seems pretty in depth but it is user friendly enough for a newbie to come in and enjoy? Obviously there are different difficulty levels and whatnot. It appears a lot of vets even have trouble hitting or being effective as a pitcher.

2. RTTS, pitcher or position player? I've read on here position player is the way to go. Do you just bat or do you play in the field also? I've watched some videos and I'm not sure if it is just cut up highlights but I have yet to see a guy make a play in the field or run the bases.

3. How hard is it to make it to the show, build up a superstar?

4. Is the mode pretty good or is it really buggy like other career modes? IE trades make no sense, your teammates play like zombies, etc.

1.The game is easy to figure out. There are learning curves just like any game, but you will have no problem.

2.Which ever you want to do. I like position player myself, but I also do a pitcher. You can play the field and run the bases if you want. There are options for all of that.

3.It's not to hard to make the show, you just have to spend some time on it.

4.It's not buggy at all, someone will argue it is, but nothing bad. Trade logic is not very good, but what game is? Not sure what you mean by your teammates being zombies, but they play just fine.
