Switching Formations in No-Huddle

The position logic when switching formations in a no-huddle situation on offense and defense should be fixed.

Currently on defense if you start out in a 3-4 and the next play switch to a 4-3 play the second MLB will move down to DE instead of the OLB and many other strange variations with different formations. Many teams are running hybrid defenses to keep up with the spread no-huddle. And the way the positions switch with the formations in the game just doesn't make any sense. (One time a had a 300 lb. DT move to MLB????)

On offense I was in a shotgun trips with three receivers to the left and a TE to the right, next play called a shotgun normal formation. The TE moved to the outside receiver on the right and one of the trips receivers moved to the TE spot, instead of the TE staying put and one of the WR switching sides. There are many other examples as well.

Also would be cool if you could make substitutions in no-huddle without huddling back up, like in real life. And see players running on and off the field.

Hopefully these will be considered for NCAA 14

Re: Switching Formations in No-Huddle

That's why I play PS2 07. Never have this problem. Haha. But really, I think it'd be a major step-forward if they figured out a way to have in-game substitutions while changing formations in no-huddle like they do in real life. I think it should be determined by the offense whether or not the defense gets to do this.

For example: You complete a pass out of a spread (2x2) look, no huddle to a trips (3x1) and the defense has to keep the same players on the field. D goes from 4-2-5 to 4-1-5, but has a linebacker playing nickel. You complete another pass and switch to a big look (1x1 wr, 1x1 te), wrs coming off the field gives the D time to bring another backer onto the field.
