Exactly. EA doesn't want people sharing the game with friends and loved ones. They want everyone to buy their own copy. This started with ssx and now has spilled over to madden. EA could care less about you being "connected." They only want to "connect" to your wallet.

I hope it's not like that next gen where you have to download all your games and you can't share it with friends. That would suck.

This is the specific reason I'm not buying this yr. Maybe M14, but this is a personal deal breaker for me. My buddy and I get tons of value out if creating ourselves and playing thru a chise/dynasty co-op style. This effin sucks for me. I hate that they took it out, and I hope they truly are working on a fix for next yrs edition.

If certain game developers had their way, that's exactly the way it would be. Developers like EA have proven over time that they do not want gamers in the same room with one another. They prefer you in a room by yourself with a headset on. That's what they call being a "connected gamer."
