One glaring thing stuck out to me -- lack of gameplay depth and lack of enough familiarity or passion for the the olympic sports. I haven't played this game, so maybe I'm wrong - but is there much strategy to the sports? For example compare like the 100m running dash to the whole sport of basketball or football. Nba2k and madden there is so much depth in the sport, strategy, playbooks, moves, variety of players, etc. A lot of Olympic sports you're just moving straight or in a circle and pressing the L and R triggers ? Just seems like it'd get boring fast with not much gameplay immersion. I think I'd rather play ping pong or swim in real life than in a videogame. I actually think it'd have more potential as some arcade party game with the kinect and online multiplayer.
