After the turnover I felt like we were for sure going to lose because we couldn't stop UNC for the entire second half of the game. On UNC's first possession they throw it in the flat to their HB but it was intercepted and returned for a touchdown by my LE. Texas St wins. Texas St. finished the season ranked second in the country behind the National Champion Georgia Bulldogs who defeated a previously undefeated Utah for the NC.

Currently I am going through the off-season and have accepted a OLB transfer from LSU that was a true freshman the year before and is currently rated 74 OVR.
Texas St ranked 8th in the nation?

Re: The Official How's Your Dynasty Going Thread NCAA 13

I just started my second season of my Arkansas State OC Dynasty.

Finished the season with a loss to Toledo in the New Orleans bowl and a 7-6 finish as Sun Belt Champions

First game of this new season, I went on the road to play in California at UCLA (promise to a recruit) and went four overtimes and lost 57-54.

My star running back went down for a few quarters and I couldn't use him in the 4th. I led a drive with one of the wort quarterbacks in D1 and the CPU nailed a 32 yard field goal to send it to OT.

We were back and forth through OT and my TE dropped a pass in the end zone that would have gave me a chance to go for 2 again and put the pressure back on UCLA. We kicked a field goal and they scored a touchdown to win it.

This is the 4th OT game I have had in this dynasty and I'm 0-4 in OT. I just can't buy a win against a "bigger named" school. I've taken Ole Miss, Nebraska and now UCLA to OT...

Loving the sliders I've been using.. fun games.

Re: The Official How's Your Dynasty Going Thread NCAA 13

Just a brief summary of my first year as HC of USC

We finished 13-1 on our way to a blowout Rose Bowl victory over 12-2 Michigan. Our only loss of the season was to Washington back in week 7 of the regular season. I had two chances late to take the lead; at UDub's 2 and 5 yard lines, only to throw an interception and miss a field goal respectively.

We faced Washington again in the PAC 12 Championship, which I won, 21-14.

The Rose Bowl game was a laugher, Matt Barkley threw for 5 touchdowns. Sophomore wide out George Farmer was starting in place of injured Robert Woods, and hauled in 8 passes for 202 yards and 2 scores. We kept Denard Robinson in check all game, blitzing from the word go. Our defense was dominate all season long.

The offseason;

-LB Dion Bailey won the Chuck Bednarik award.

-Seniors Matt Barkley, TJ McDonald, Curtis McNeal and Khaled Holmes all graduated.

-I persuaded TE's Randall Telfer and Xavier Grimble to stay in school another year. Telfer was HUGE for me down the stretch. He finished with around 70 catches and 992 receiving yards on the season.

-I brought in a 4* ATH by the name of Kyle McFadden. He is 6'3 220 pounds. He was a GEM recruit with an overall rating of 81. To my surprise he had great throwing numbers; 88 throwing power and 87 accuracy to go along with 90 speed and 87 acceleration! I think I've found my new QB of the future.... and present!

-A few other players I'm excited about playing with: 4* DE Michael Baker, 81 overall, 5* OLB,DE,S Justin Garrett, 81 overall, and 5* RB Matt Callahan, 80 overall.

In 2013, we are loaded with play makers all over the field. Robert Woods, Marqise Lee, George Farmer, Randall Telfer, Xavier Grimble, George Uko, Dion Bailey, Lamar Dawson, Hayes Pullard, Nickell Robey, and DJ Morgan are going to counted on to make big plays for us.

Here's to winning a National Championship in 2013!!

Which teams do you guys think are the most difficult to rebuild based on a combination of everything, roster talent, prestige, conference, etc.?

I've seen alot of people using UMASS and UTSA. What else?

After dropping a couple of games, one to ranked USC and another to unranked Stanford, my Washington Cougars walked into the #5 Utes Stadium and upset them 41-38.

Noles4Ever's Florida State Seminoles Dynasty
ACC Farewell Tour

Coming into it's bye week of week 10, the Seminoles are looking at a 9-0 record and #2 in the polls right behind the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (the return of the glory days??) who just took out #1 Oklahoma 27-16 who fell to 6th in the polls. Michigan stands behind at a 7-1 record and Southern California (7-1) and Iowa (8-0) finish out the top 5. Jameis Winston who took over for injuried E.J. Manuel in the South Florida game has really shown the nation why he was the #1 quarterback last year throwing for 1,353 yards and 14 touchdowns, Winston put together back to back 300 yards vs Miami (331 Yds 6 TD 1 Rush) and 503 Yds 4 TD 1 Rush) vs Duke and earned national player of the week in week 8 vs Miami. The defense has been getting beat around but has come up with a big stop or a turnover when needed, Stoops will need to get his troops on board as they head into a week 11 match up vs #8 Virginia Tech.

Re: The Official How's Your Dynasty Going Thread NCAA 13

Just finished the second year of my UK dynasty (sim games, only recruit) last night. In year 1 we went 4-8, and Utah won the MNC. In year 2 we went 5-7, and Wisconsin won it all.
I finished the 2013 season just as I did the 2012 season: with a great recruiting class (heisman difficulty). Year 1 I had the 9th ranked class, and this year I had the 12th ranked class, headlined by the #2 RB.

Previewing 2014 and beyond, looking under the "Championship Contenders" tab under ESPN in the menus, I'm projected to finish 2014 71st (was 50th, but I lost first two games @ Virginia 38-26 and vs Louisville 35-16). In 2015, 2016, and 2017 we're projected to finish 27th, 20th, and 18th, so the future for UK football is bright to say the least, that is if my contract is renewed following this season (currently 71% job stability).

After starting the season 0-2, we rallied to beat Cincinnati on their home turf 27-20 in 2OT. That was followed by a bye in week 4. Next up for me is @ Florida, who is sure to be a tough test for my young, talented team.

Recruiting wise for 2014, I have one commit: the #12 MLB (projected 70 ovr, after scouting is a 75 ovr). I lose a lot of depth in my defensive front 7 after this season, so it's critical that I stock up on talented players to keep position depth and ensure there's not much of a drop-off in production.

Go Big Blue!
