I created a team to replace the LA Clippers so I could start with their roster. If you want to create a dream team, the Clippers are awesome to start with as they have the highest trade value players. My goal is to build around Blake Griffin through a few trades and the draft. Here's the moves I've made so far:

Billups, Bledsoe, Thompkins, & Evans to Houston for Patrick Patterson, 2012 1st Round Pick, 2013 1st Round Pick, & 2012 2nd Round Pick

Martin, Gomes, Simmons, & 2013 2nd Round Pick to San Antonio for James Anderson, Gary Neal, Tiago Splitter, & 2012 1st Round Pick

Butler, Foye, 2013 1st Round Pick, & 2012 2nd Round Pick to New Jersey for Gerald Wallace, DeShawn Stevenson, 2012 1st Round Pick, & 2013 1st Round Pick

Stevenson & 2012 1st Round Pick to Toronto for DeMar DeRozan, 2012 2nd Round Pick, & 2013 2nd Round Pick

I still plan to make more moves, and I'll eventually trade Chris Paul before the deadline (hopefully for John Wall) because I think he'll be too hard to re-sign. Here's my roster at this point:

Just worked out another deal for my PG of the future...

Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan, Gary Neal, & 2013 1st Round to Wizards for John Wall, Nene, & Jan Vesely

I turned around & traded Vesely to Miami for Joel Anthony, 2012 1st Round, & 2013 1st Round

I will keep Wall but Nene will go back on the block, especially after I draft Davis #1. I should be able to get the #1 pick since I've stocked up on draft picks in all of my trading. I now have the following picks...

Blake Griffin and that's it pretty much LOL...I can build a contender faster this way than with fantasy draft and can get the guys I want to build around (John Wall & Blake Griffin).

A combination of good trades to stock-pile draft picks, a little luck in the lottery, and a draft day trade helped me land Kevin Durant. It costed me the #1, #3, #12, and Gerald Wallace to land him but it was well worth it to me. Here's my Kentucky Wildcats roster heading into Year 3...
