That's why it's best to temper expectations. Prepare for the best, expect the worst.

Yeah the Webcast will be immediately following the EA Press Conference. So probably around 5PM EST.

I doubt it's real-time physics. While I firmly think that's ultimately where EA wants to go with the franchise, they're already on the record as saying it's tougher to implement than in other sports like hockey where you only 10 players crashing into each other.

I think it's been fairly obvious as to what the monumental change is going to be. It's going to be adaptive AI. They've already laid hints about the CPU calling a more team oriented game. Like the Saints passing more while inside the 10. They've scouted all 32 teams, they know what they like to run in situations. And with the option of being a coach in connected careers, it just seem to fall in line. I think the new play calling engine is going hurt players that call the same play, play after play. I'm kind of rambling since I'm tired and it's late. But I posted this idea on two other sites, and strangely my posts have vanished. So no real time physics, this year. The monumental change is going to revolve around some form of new adaptive AI.

I agree with this. I bet we won't get real time physics until the next gen systems. I can see something where at the end of the current gen games we get a peak of Real time physics with something small in the last Madden for the current gen, but I doubt that we get it yet.

Not going to throw any fits no matter what is announced. I am just happy that they got rid of the leaping linebacker and psychic db issues.
And worked on the commentary

Re: Real Time Physics accidently revealed in presentation webcast?

My June 4th (absolutely clueless, no idea what's coming tomorrow, expecting the worst, hoping the best, pretty unoriginal) guess.

"Monumental Gameplay" - My guess is that we see some form of RTP involved in tackling and ball-carrier. I don't think it will stop there though. I think it will also applied to the running/momentum in something very similar to what's been shown in NHL 13. I think DPP will be upgraded as well, but since that is more under-the-hood, I think it will have to take a backseat to something much more visually appealing.

Connected Careers - My guess here is that Superstar and Franchise have been integrated into one unified mode. I think there will also be the addition of some form of NFL Head Coach intertwined in this as well. I also believe Online Franchise will see an upgrade but as to what extent, like pretty much everything else, I have not a clue.

No matter what happens tomorrow though, I plan on being happy.

i can honestly say if thats the "big monumental" change to gameplay i will be diasappointed. i mean developers do that every year. It should be mandatory that you always try to get the players to behave like they would in real life. How is that "monumental"?. i think ea should be careful with their words. and whether others want to accept it. if ppl are disappointed come tomorrow because their expectations were too high i cant blame them. You hold off an announcement till june 4th claming it will blur the line between virtual and reality. I mean how vague can that statement be. of course you are going to get alot of speculation. I just know i can understand the group of ppl that believe rtp is going to be in this iteration. I dnt expect it but i can atleast undertand

Take Roadmans advice: "That's why it's best to temper expectations." Then you won't be disappointed nor excited, just form your own opinion on it and go from there. I think you will only be disappointed because you allowed yourself to believe the hype train and because of that you will be disappointed if it's not that.

To be honest Adaptive AI would be a solid improvement since that would hopefully improve game play, something many have been wanting in Madden. So if it is Adaptive AI then great but if not, I won't be upset either, I'll just hope that whatever they are announcing works out of the box and won't need 1 or 2 patches to get them to work properly.
