Off season/off topic.

Hard to believe we let this guy go trying to pursue Gareth Barry.

Dirk Kuyt has left us for Fenerbahce on a 3 year deal.

Sad to see us lose one the the hardest working players on the team but it was probably time.

For a £1m fee fenerbahce got a player with a few years left in the tank I think.

What a guy, he was the ultimate team player. I'm glad he was able to get a winner's medal before he left.

Dammit. I'm not sure why Kenny didn't play him more than he did, sad to see him go.

At least the end of the season seems favorable. So if we're not too far out of it we should be able to battle back up.

It seems very front loaded this year.

If Liverpool would win their first 3 home games then that would be great.

HaHa, not happening unfortunately. With that schedule it's all about damage control early. Here's how I expect the first six go:

West Brom: Win
Manchester City: Loss
Arsenal: Win
Sunderland: Draw
Man United: Loss
Norwich: Win

The key is making up for the expected early home losses by getting favorable results in the very winnable road matches. Considering that there's a new Manager, new system, and presumably some new player additions I think 10 points from the first six games is acceptable.
As it stands right now, 19 June 2012 we are a fringe Euro club, with no real shot of finishing above City, United, Arsenal, Chelsea, or Spurs.

I don't know, the run in really looks tough too, road matches with Newcastle and Fulham, a home game with a very good Chelsea club, and the derby at home with Everton. I'll give you QPR, the Reds should win that at home despite the fact that QPR will most likely be fighting for their Premier League lives.
