Hey guys - thanks for the comments so far... no need to attack me though, can't we all just get along? haha... for real though.

In the game, my opponent was playing bump and run man coverage all game... now, if you know Madden, the best way to combat that is to run crossing patterns and comeback routes... i mean, truthfully, how many other routes are there that work against man coverage? It does me no good to run a play that won't work? right?

I do hot route a lot... but isn't that what Peyton Manning does... read the defense, then put his players in the best possible position to make positive yardage? I do run fade routes in the end zone against man to man coverage... why not? Don't they do that in the NFL? If Marshall is one on one in the endzone at the 2 yard line... isn't the QB going to just throw it up to him? I'd say so... and if he doesn't, it's a bad play for not taking advantage of a mismatch.

Thoughts? more positive please... lol... just a couple of guys talking about Madden...

I don't think you were cheesing at all tbh. Putting Marshall in the slot hardly constitutes cheesing. NFL teams pour days of time over schemes and plays to try and get a physical mismatch. I'm a Packers fan, we make a living off Greg Jennings in the slot some times.

Thanks for watching, man! I agree- especially if he wants to run man bump and run all game I have to find a mismatch somewhere somehow and having B Marsh in the slot did it for me.

This is actually why you do not brag about being in top 100. Most, if not all, use cheesy tatics that no one in sim leagues would put up with. Thats why they are in the top 100, because the guys who actually could kill them, do not wanna waste their time.

Wow, embarrassing that this game allows this type of play. Nothing in that video looks even close to realistic. I can't believe I played Madden 12 as much as I did when i was playing it. What a disaster.
