Of course, UNC didn't sign any of the top 100. Bunting got fired that season, so the program was in transition. Still, hiring Butch Davis midseason allowed the Heels to get the 30th ranked class.......

No one's sched is great. TCU has beaten 2 2-loss teams plus possible ACC champ Clemson. Two of those on the road. Cincy has a road win vs Ore St, the only one over a ranked team. Texas' only ranked...

As I said, "most years" the top team in 2009 would probably just squeeze into the top 10. We have 6 unbeatens & 18 w/3 losses. Those unbeatens aren't beating any contenders. The best wins among those...

Its not a true Terp season if they don't get blown out 2 or 3 times OOC. Then they turn things around just enough by the time pitchers & catchers report.
